I had my reservations to purchase this product and i've compared it to many more sophisticated and more expensive products, even from the same brand. My research led me to opt for this Carlinkid 3.0 mini wireless. i have instaled it in my E-class 2016 model to use it with apple car play. it is constantly connected on a usb port in the armrest compartment and when i switch on the car it connects in approx. 15-25 sec. This product is trully amazing. it works 99% of the time and this satisfies my needs. Absolutely recomend this product. Small and simple device with rock solid capabilities.

Connection speed was okay but very unreliable and repeated disconnection

Unbelievable product. Almost 17 seconds to automatically connect. Totally recommended

The device will go of / on automatically when you will be using navigation. Mostly not stable and connection too slow and 99% not connecting or finding. Have to spend 30 minutes overtime in the car by disconnect and connect with usb to get it connect with phone.

Connection is mediocre at best, it only works somewhat fine when playing music. Slow connectivity; when there are two phones in the car, it gets confused and does not know which to connect with and ending up not connecting anything, if it ever connects it would be a very long while, like after half an hour or so. It's worst when you try to use with navigation it lags like no other and I'm pretty sure it's not because of my internet connection because if I disconnect it from my phone and use my phone for navigating, my navigation does not lag. You are already miles away from one place and still your location on the screen has not moved along.

Very good in connection but it is always disconnect by itself.. not sufficient in navigating routes.

I do not advise anyone to buy it

Hace su función inalámbrica sin problemas, sin embargo después de un tiempo 20min se calienta y deja de funcionar, si operas solo musica funciona más tiempo , si transmites en tiempo real Waze o Maps se calienta más rápido y deja de operar o genera intermitencia en la transmisión y se corta la música o Waze no se actualiza, dejas de tener control de la pantalla.

Does exactly what I need it to do. Syncs up when I enter car and stays synced throughout car use.

Installation literally took me less than a minute. Just connect the dongle to the wired car play usb slot, wait for the unit to turn on (a few seconds), go to the bluetooth settings on your iphone and search for the device name displayed on your car unit display. All car play apps work as expected. Already bought a second unit.

I have install this into my 4 wired Carplay cars and have wireless carplay in all of them now. Very nice and smooth.Easy to install too.
