Great toy and silent so you can play with this anywhere!
This toy is fun! You can pop these apart at each joint and the pop them back together so you can make so many cool shapes and twists! If you buy more than one you can snap them all together into one multi colored really long toy too if you want! It does not make any noise at all it is silent. No snapping or cracking noises at the joints like some of these style toys make. Very sturdy. The joints are very strong.

Great fidget, easy to take anywhere.
My son uses fidgets in school, to help him stay on task but still allow unobtrusive moements. This toy is perfect for giving his hands something to do while listening to lessons. He can wrap it around his wrist or put it in his pocket and have it available at any time. The pieces snap together easily and move seemlessly. We enjoyed splitting it into several pieces and sharing with his siblings.

"It" gift?
Back when I was little, I got a fidget toy with joints very similar to this one. It was one of those 50 cent machine toys you get in the supermarket. I gave it to my dad, and he loved it.Fifteen years later, I have no idea what happened to that old toy, but I found this online and decided it would be a great blast to the past. I gave it to my dad as soon as it came in and we had a good laugh over it.In short, this is a fun thing to fiddle with, but as another reviewer already pointed out, the joints are not very sturdy. It's not that the toy is falling apart, but the joint positions give way with even small force so that you really can't build anything that will stay put.And yes, building is also an important part of fidgeting.Anyway, my dad and I were able to hold an hour long intellectual conversation while taking turns playing with it; it is fun, but I can't help but wonder how this particular toy managed to become an "it" toy when it is basically a less fun version of an existing style of toy. I do regret not heeding the previous reviewer's advice of going for a cheaper, not as hyped toy, with better construction.

I bought this fidget toy for my daughter, but ...
I bought this fidget toy for my daughter, but it ended up being a little to tiny for her (small pieces that break apart), as she's only 3. However, I plopped it down on my desk and now it keeps me from going crazy while stuck on an infuriating client call. WELL worth it.

Not the same fidget
I love this fidget, and wanted to get more. But the one I got, although the same brand, is not the same fidget.

Nice!
My daughter has ADD and I've tried a bunch of different fidgets for her. This one we have to share! When you ball it up and pull it back apart, it makes a slight clicking noise that is super satisfying. I think it is too large/distracting to use in a classroom setting. My daughter likes to create a pattern or shape with it, I like to ball it up and take it apart. We've accidentally pulled it apart before, not too hard to get back together.

Great fidget
With three sons on the spectrum I needed a fidget that all would love, and this one does of course a little small so I ordered a couple more in different colors. My one son hurts himself in public, pinching, picking his skin, etc but now he keeps a small section in his pocket and pulls it out when he feels uncomfortable. It can be pulled apart, put together create things with. One stocking stuffer that they love.

One of the best autism fidgets ever
One of the best autism fidgets ever! Somebody was selling them at an autism conference for $15, but I found them on amazon and saved so much $. I love it! I often wear it as a necklace or bracelets to have it along with me everywhere.
