can i use them making vietnamese sugar cane shrimp

They were very thin, and not as sweet as I thought. For sugar cane shrimp they could work, they are not as thick as a bic pen.

Are they good to just to chew on

Uff… I purchased them a long time ago. I do recall chewing on them and were sweet.

Can you just eat them straight up like a candy?

That's the way my kids wanted to eat them, but they were so chewy and bland, nothing like the fresh ones we ate in Costa Rica. I thought they were awful and wound up throwing them out.

What is the shelf life? Expiration date?

Not long obviously. Mine went moldy in about 2 weeks after opening package. I maybe should have refrigerated after opening?? May have prolonged the shelf life?
