I loved the shelf. This the 12 inch shelf. I wanted to place my Roku and cox mini box on the top of the TV so when turned my TV from living room to dinning room the remotes would work. There was one problem. The cables on the back of both boxes forced them to point upward. Easy fix. I used a small tarp bungee to keep the boxes down.

I liked it so much I ordered another one for another tv in my house...just hopped up on a chair placed on top the tv and moved the leg to close it.It’s great for resting the DVD player and satellite box just don’t watch a ton of dvds cause it moves every time you tinker with it...Love it cause I didn’t have to drill just wish it had more support for when the dvd holder slides in and out... and you have to catch the boxes

Originally purchased this 2-Pack to place on top of my Sony Flat Screen TV which is about 0.25 inches thick. Unfortunately, it would not mount at all because the angled support arms were too short for my monitor's thin profile. I wish I knew ahead of time that the angled support arms only work if you have an extremely thick monitor (like my Apple Thunderbolt Display shown in the photo, which is where they eventually ended up being used). So be aware before buying that your TV/monitor is thick/deep enough to be able to provide the tension needed for the angled support arms. If you do, then these are great.

I attempted to fasten this to my Vizio E 50" TV. I can't get the arm to tighten. I put my DVD player on it and it seems to balance securely. The shelf has openings, so there is now worry about heat dissipating. The rubber type cloth securely stays in place.I am happy to have the DVD player off the TV stand, and it is nice not to have so many cords hanging down. The construction is solid. I live alone, so I don't have to worry about children bumping into it, but I would worry about not being able to tighten the arm if I did. I don't know if it's my TV, me or the shelf. If the arm was easily tightened down or there were more instructions that would allow me to figure out the problem, I would give it 5 stars.

These shelves are great. You may need to use double sided tape and other accessories to make it totally secure, but that should be obvious when you buy this.I needed this for the travel trailer TV's. Its big enough for a mid-size DVD/Blu-Ray player, and sturdy enough. For this application, you will definitely need additional items to make it semi-permanent installation in an environment where you will get movement.I would buy this again, though I dont think I will ever need to. These are built to last.

Great Idea, and simple install.Get the dimensions. Not enough depth for any Consoles, DVD players, or other useful projects.Sits precariously on top of the TV. With a depth of only Five inches, width of 11 3/4 inches. A single centre back brace that clamps at the desired± angle. With a rubber pad to help delay slipping of the item placed on the shelf.I suggest bolting/screwing/gluing your item to the shelf to prevent slippage. Or use it as a base to fasten a larger piece to increase shelf area. I got mine for a clock. I fear passing traffic vibrations will cause it to fall off.

I purchased this item for a 32" TV I have mounted in my travel trailer and it worked great!!! I have previously purchased another wall mount to hold a blu-ray player and was looking for something on the small side since it would be in the trailer but when it arrived it was almost huge then I found this mount. Since it sits on top of the TV it was out of he way and was really easy to setup. Great buy!!!

I ordered one of these to put a genie box on a bed room TV to save space. Since then I have ordered them for every TV and computer monitor in the house. They are great for small set top boxes, web cams, or even small speaker set (on a computer). Well built and sturdy, great product!

Shelf fell down
