Good homeschool tool for toddlers
I use this with my 2yr old niece and 3yr old nephewYoung children need visuals to learn and they are very hands on.With this product the kids see the written numeral but also see the quantity. They can use their finger to count the holes in the wood and count the green pegs as they put them in the holes.Everything is solid wood and well made

durable and well made
These number peg boards and bags have been some of our favorite things to have for educational play. We love that they are wooden which makes them very durable. They can be used as they are intended but they can also be used separately. The little holes for numbers can be filled with small pom poms to switch things up a bit and the pegs can be used alone fo counting, adding, and free play, such as stacking, building, shape or letter creating, and more. The pegs are a good size for younger kids to grasp easily which is another plus as that makes this set fun and in use for a longer time. I Laos like that it comes in a cotton bag which makes it easy to store just about anywhere or to carry it into different areas in the house.

Some good, some bad
I bought this peg board set because I like how the holes are laid out for odd vs even numbers. It is also seemingly durable/good quality. However, it is super weird to me that the different boards are different sizes - and it's not just that each larger number has a board larger than the number before it... some of the boards are the same size as others but they're not all the same...to me this is confusing to children. the only difference between the boards should be the number of holes and the numeral that is written. I would return it if I didnt throw away the box.
