Great start gear for young kids! This catchers gear looks phenomenal and definitely helps protect the catcher. The Velcro straps make it easy to take on and off in between innings without worrying the Velcro is going to give out. The fit allows for the catchers to grow while fitting them securely with adjustable straps that make it easy to tailor to the correct size. Great purchase

Gear fits good and he can put it on himself. Only complaint of you can call it is the Black set is not Black and White it's more of a Black and Beige

1 year review update: Just buy the gear!!! It lasted us 2 fall ball seasons and a travel ball spring/summer season and still going strong. The Velcro on the one let is started to need re stitched but we played about 100 games with this set so that’s to be expected and it’s an easy fix. I wish they made another size after the L/XL because it works so well for us. The Velcro is everyone’s favorite part because I can have him keep the legs on while being on deck and it’s a quick pull to get them off. JUST GET IT! No need to spend $200+! My son is an average size 7 year old and beginning travel baseball next summer and wanted his own gear. We looked at a bunch of different ones. MAKE SURE YOU READ REVIEWS!! I would have ordered him a S/M but thankfully saw a review of another average 7 year old with a L/XL perfect! So happy we saw that! Definitely recommend!
