No there is no battery in this one.

Q: how to attach the pouch to a phone case?

I purchased also on Amazon a adhesive apple pencil pouch which I had to trim down to fit on the back of my phone the temporary solution but it's been working so far for me about 2 weeks now my only complaint is at the top of it from where I cut obviously it's a bit frayed hopefully I'll find something better in the future but for now this this is working just fine.

The Samsung galaxy s pen is only for the fold 3. the fold 4 brings its own pen. The pen of fold 4 has different functions.

Q: Does air command work with this s pen?

Not on the Fold 4. You'll need the Pro version for that. Source: I'm using this pen on my Fold 4 right now.
