I just received this, super easy to set up. 5 light settings from bright to totally dark (but you can only set this if the station is plugged into an outlet - battery only will only let the screen lit up for a few seconds then it goes dark) - different colors for time/date/year/day of week so easy to spot what you need to know - large time digit at least 1.25" - HOWEVER, if you are not directly in front of the station, you can't always see the digital screens lighted up evenly - from different angles, heights, or right/left side, there can be shadowy or uneven distribution of brightness, which is a shame. This is definitely a design flaw.

I really liked the looks of this clock and the fact that it has a USB charging port. I like to charge my cell phone at work and also have a clock on my desk, so I bought this to replace one I had from another manufacturer that finally died. This clock didn’t work right out of the box. I even added the backup batteries that are not included, and still it didn’t work. I changed outlets in case there was a problem. Still nothing. I had two coworkers try it in their own offices. Still didn’t work. After so many great reviews, I can’t believe I received a dud. It’s not even worth returning because it’s so inexpensive, and that’s aggravating. I guess you get what you pay for. I can’t recommend this clock. It’s junk. I’d give it zero stars, if possible.
