what do the worms look like, or how to tell when the dog is wormmy

I'm not a vet but if you pet has a pot belly that is one pretty good indication. Some worms are present in the dog's feces some we cannot see with the human eye. I used to breed and show Jack Russell Terriers and wormed with Safeguard quarterly. It is also one of the few that addresses tape worms and is the same medication that treats giardia which causes vomiting and diarrhea. They can get this from other animals (seen and unseen) that wander onto your property -- even rabbits, squirrels, etc. If they get this, it is expensive to diagnose and treat. Hope this helps.

I have a pomerian who is maybe 20pds or so a tall heAvier guy do I get small or med?

I believe small would work fine, but if he is close to the weight limit on the small dose, you could get the medium and still be ok.. I have two five pound dogs and just split a small pak, between them and they have been ok..

It says 1 gram for a 10 pound dog (100 mg/lb), but only 22.7mg per pound. That would be 68.1mg for a 3 pound dog?
