I loved this book
I loved this book. When you can laugh at a guy who murdered 70 million or so people, you have achieved something. Because of Kundera's life experience, he is entitled to laugh at the monster Stalin and the fools who allowed him to have power over them. In the chaos of wills, the strongest will wins, but that doesn't mean you have to take him seriously. I find the book timely and wise, as well as completely lacking in seriousness.

Did he really need to publish it?
Frankly I found it irrelevant. Empty of meaning. The "lightness" is such the it borders to emptiness... I wouldn't know what to write in a summary if required.
