[LEZHIN] Point Character Drawing [paperback]

I bought this for my teenager that is very in to art right now and he loves it. He uses the books regularly and it has really improved his drawing skills. Even though it is in Korean, some of it is translated to English. I've looked at it myself and it looks easy to follow and it covers everything. Definitely worth the money, cheaper than actual art classes and more useful imo.

Extremely helpful. Definitely one of the better artbooks I have purchased, less of a how too and more of how to think when drawing characters. Methods can very easily be adapted, modified, and combined with other drawing techniques.

First time buying a drawing guide, I'm pretty happy with it. There are many different references, hands, feet, fingers, teeth, veins, pretty much everything I could ask for. It's also got an interesting take on drawing anatomy in different ways, like through the use of bones or shapes. You get references for both men and women, I've seen even chibi on some pages. Everything is well translated and sectioned in my opinion. Very handy and very fun to use instead of Google, I constantly grab it whenever I need a reference. I think it's a great buy even for beginner artists. I expected one book but it's actually split into two which makes it easier to find a specific reference. Would 100% recommend for anyone interested in drawing.

I originally bought these two books because the illustrations looked so helpful. I figured, I could translate what I needed. Turns out there is very little writing and all of it (save the Preface) is well translated.Care was taken with this publication. The binding is high-quality, the paper is nice, the pocket-size is perfect for on-the-go study, you get both books in the set and the translations were done by a person, not Google Translate.The illustrations are exceptionally practical. He is not teaching theory but application. I think it’s still important to learn human anatomy (and the author even says as much) but this set is a great companion to those anatomy lessons as it shows how to apply what you’ve learned into dynamic poses.

Easily one of the best guides on drawing anatomy there is. Evening is cleanly and consistently drawn and explained.

Worth every penny - if you're interested in manga / anime style drawing, this book is indispensable. My only gripe is I wish there were more varieties in the bodies - there's basically one, slim, athletic fit man / woman you're referencing every time; would've liked something that showed me how to draw heavier folks. But if you want to learn the muscles in a way you can really apply, it's great.

I have always wanted this book! This is the perfect book for basic human anatomy reference and understanding. For beginners, this breaks down the human body into easy to understand sections and blocks. Personally, I’m not a beginner and it is a wonderful reference to have for warm ups and for a refresh on any anatomy I’m unsure of. It also has English translation which I love!
