I bought an item that seemed identical to this one and after I bought it I happened to look on Amazon for something different and came across this unit for half the price of the one I had bought already. Even though I was a bit skeptical about a cheaper item I decides to order it. It came they other day and I could not be more pleased with it. It is as well built, just as useful as the first one and is exactly what we need for our purposes. What a bargain and at half the price...P.S. there is only one problem with it I preferred the color of the other one more..Oh well .can't have everything.

Almost every aspect of this cash box is just what I wanted...except the locking system. Had this been a lock and key type of set up, it would have been a solid 5 stars. However, the coded lock would not always unlock, even with proper code dialed up, the top would stick, and not release, (this could have been due to the entire box being a bit skewed). So close...I did end up returning this cash box, it was far to aggravating.

The lock is horrific. But keeping box, found that if I have the 0000 combination and hit the top of the box above the lock, it will open. If lock totally fails, I will use belt to keep it closed. And so it goes........

I bought this cash box for storage of cash and small valuables for a family member who lives in a 24/7 supervised group home. The box is very sturdy and just the right size to fit in a small desk drawer. The combination is very easy to change and the removable cash drawer is very convenient while providing a two-level storage capability. if you are looking for a conveniently sized cash box for personal use that seems like it will last a long time, I suggest you get this one. I am very pleased with this product!

The cash box has a sturdy metal box with handle and the digital combination is fairly easy to assign, but the plastic insert tray arrived broken. The size makes it easy to store.
