UPDATE: I’ve had this cabinet for about 2 years now (I could be slightly off, but that’s close to the amount of time). Since this post, I've changed the litter pan to a taller pan and removed the scratching thing inside. I’ve also experimented with litter mats and wee wee pads, but I’ve found having nothing inside works best. It’s just a litter pan and the cabinet now. It has held up extremely well and it honestly was one of the best purchases I’ve made this far. I really can’t say enough good things. Keeps most of the litter in (not all obviously) and it’s easy to clean(I used a hand held vacuum and I wipe it out with some natural spray and paper towels during litter changes). Keeps the stink in too! I really think if you’re looking to hide your litter in a cabinet, this is the one. Just buy it! Original review: This little litter cabinet is pretty much exactly what is advertised. Now, it’s not my most favorite piece of furniture (it has that fake wood pattern on it), but to be honest it looks pretty good. Its sleek and modern, and it hides the litter box which is what I wanted. It’s exactly what I expected. Definitely order a litter box that it recommends underneath it to be sure it fits (I was also nervous it would be tiny and I have one normal sized cat and one big chunk of a cat, but to my surprise it was a good size little pan!). The directions were clear, but make sure you have your own tools because it looks like a lot to do without tools. My cats come to the apartment tomorrow (they’re moving into this apartment), so I’ll update the review after my cats give this thing a try :))

We have a foxhound who wants to eats almost anything, including her own and our cat’s stool :(( Out vet said that this is fairly common, but it has been difficult to deal with. It has been hard to maintain access to the kitty litter for the cat while making sure that she does not find a new way to get to it. This has been a great solution. Our dog can get her head into the opening but cannot turn it to get to the litter. We have had it for about a week and she no longer tries. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy. It looks like a piece of furniture and can hold things on top. The cat gets in to the litter box through the small opening on the inside. It is easy to access the litter pan for cleaning through the double doors in the front. The litter kicked up by the cat remains inside and does not scatter onto the floor. Because it keeps things contained, out of sight, is attractive and easy to use I would recommend this for anyone who has a cat, even if they do not need to keep another pet out of the litter. Highly recommended

I absolutely loved this purchase as we were in need of another option for our cat box. We live in a small space so this worked great to store and clean easily plus it’s very sturdy and visibly looks very nice. I put houseplants on top and nobody ever knows there is a litter box on the inside. Perfect height and we are still able to clean easily. I recommend this to friends and family with cats!

I had these for 2 to 3 years as my apartment was tiny and I stacked 2. They stack ok, but really you just leave ones feet off and they can slide on each other. They were fine to set up. I have high side boxes inside that just fit and were decent sized. I put contact paper liner in them and cleaned them regularly. Even with the contact paper and high bixes over time however there is still urine seeping into the cracks from when they somehow miss and im nearing the time to toss. I think most adult cats just dislike the closed space or maybe its just mine idk. My cats are aboit 10 lbs. They arent huge, but adults. The doors do hang a little uneven due to the way its manufactured. Pretty sure others covered it in their reviews. It served its purpose for me, but im ready to toss em.

Super sturdy, looks great and very easy to clean and hide the litter box. My cat loves her privacy in it, size is good to me but some people might find it too big. But like I said my cat loves it and I love that it hides in plain sight

I am very impressed with this litter box cabinet. It is much sturdier than I expected. I just received it today and put it together by myself. It took awhile but the directions were very well written and easy to follow. The material is sturdy and all the pieces fit nicely together. I took someone else’s advise on here and also purchased contact paper to put inside as I can see my cats making messes inside and this should make it easier to clean. It fits a small litter box but I have two cats that share the one litter box and as long as you clean it out every day would be fine. The litter box fits in there nicely with a little room to spare. The front doors make it so convenient to access the litter box to clean it out. I already owned a hideaway cat litter cabinet, but it got messy all the time, was not easy to clean, litter got every where when my cats were done doing their business, and the smell easily wafted out. I have to keep the litter box in my bedroom so this cabinet looks very nice and I’m hoping it will help keep the mess and smell to a minimum and will also be easy to clean.

Love this thing and so do my cats. Unfortunately the cats don't seem to quite understand they're supposed to pee INside the litter box. So I had to scrap the first one when it started smelling strongly of cat pee and I am now taking extra precautions with the new one to ensure nothing soaks into the wood. I added a nightlight to see if that would help but so far it hasn't! I'd recommend some kind of liner, we added a large plastic 3 sided box around the litter box to stop accidents and so far that's contained the mess. Regardless of my cats inability to aim, the cabinet is awesome, it holds the smell in great and really cuts down on tracking. The cats took to it right away and they like to scratch the cardboard. Overall an awesome cabinet and I'll definitely buy it again if they manage to stink this one up too!
