delicious, but not strong enogh

This is my favorite Manuka honey. It uses the honey and honeycomb so has a bit of a texture to it. I use it for health purposes and it seems to work. Far fewer infections since I started using it

I’ve been using Manuka honey for several years. I don’t have the best health and every little cut I would get would get infected. Now I don’t even keep any antibacterial creams in the house. As soon as I get a little nick- the honey and Band-Aid goes on and I’ve never had a single infection. I also have celiac and Crohn’s disease. I take the honey on a very regular basis- especially anytime I start to have a flare and it does a lot to help my issues. It really seems to help my flares within a few days. Less pain and flares calm more quickly.I switched this honey several months ago when the price of my old honey rose dramatically. I have seen this one offered on Amazon for years but had never previously tried it. I’m kind of bummed about that now because this is a very very good honey. I like the taste and consistency. It does excellent job on anything I’ve used it for. I am currently getting over a pretty bad Crohn’s flare and I upped the amount of honey I was taking to a spoonful every few hours. I was surprised to feel better the day after upping it. It doesn’t usually work quite that fast. I don’t know for sure but I can only guess that it’s this honey. And the cost seems to stay pretty steady. They ship it in a box with enough packaging to keep it in excellent shape. I’ve never had leaks or any issues. I can’t say much for how the company would deal if you had an issue because I’ve never had one. Always comes early and is in perfect shape and works excellent.

Don’t really see all the benefits, bought this for a skin condition but doesn’t seem to be effective as of yet, we’ll see in time.Update: I purchased this honey as a last resort to apply to my scalp as I have suffered from F. Decalvans for the last 16years of my life dealing with open sores, boils and pustules which was mistaken for acne. I bought this as a recommendation and truly didn't have any hope but let me tell you after applying it 2x-3x a week topically and leaving it on for an hour at a time really did the trick, nothing has come back since. I'm glad this worked for me. Other than scars that were left behind and now healing, no more bumps. I came back to update everyone and to purchase two more bottles.

I believe it has the medicinal properties it is supposed to have. However, like a couple of the other reviews state, it is grainy and not smooth. It’s like it has undissolved sugar. For that reason, I am going back to New Zealand Co. for my manuka.
