I was looking for a large Wind Chime. I looked at so many, I read reviews and information. I came upon this Wind Chime and after reading reviews and information I decided to purchase this one. I’m so glad I did.I received my Wind Chime sooner than expected. I was so excited to get it.I opened the box and WOW! The length/size is perfect, the Wind Chime is beautiful and is so very well made, not to mention the perfect chime. My mom gifted me a deep tone wind chime of another size/brand, but always comments how much she loved the sounds it makes.i searched and searched for a decently priced one that was similar. I found this one...we both love it even more. If you love the super deep tones on a wind chime, this is the one for you. The longer the pipes the deeper it will be.My dad even said how much he liked it and he's not generally into that stuff...he actually had her move it closer to house so they both can enjoy it.After I heard it I want one too...so will be buying myself one soon.

I am wondering if some of the reviews have been added here to drive up the rating. Even in very windy conditions, this chime barely moves because of how heavy the “pedal” is. The quality of the chime seems to be very good and sturdy but it’s basic function - to chime - is poor because the weight of everything. I even tried hanging the chime in various locations around my house. Seems to require wind of at least 25mph to chime even a little. I would have given this a ‘3’ but am trying to offset the significant high reviews to something more reasonable.Changed to a 3 rating because it is working very well in the 4th location I hung outside :)

I ordered a small one (28 inch) and a large (44 inch) one. The sound is wonderful. Because it is winter right now, they are both hanging in my kitchen, but when it gets warm in the spring the large one will go back outside on the patio. Mine are both alike in that they have green tubes, but that makes no difference with the sound that I know of. I bought mine with reward points, so they were like a gift. I am very happy with both of them. The pentatonic scale is very soothing to listen to. The longer, larger tubes are deeper and more mellow sounding--easy listening. The smaller chimes are still mellow sounding, just a higher pitch and not a tinkling, get-on-your-nerves sound--also easy to hear when the summer breezes are coming through the window. I love them--they are very high quality, and the sound is very comforting since I live alone.
