This is a needed resource
This charming and awesomely illustrated tale is a much-needed resource for young children facing cancer. Told and illustrated simply and straightforward by a child, it would help to alleviate fears and reassure any young child. I loved this honest child's story and recommend it highly.

What a precious story or a brave little girl.
Whe are so proud of Stacia, our granddaughter. she's the bravest little girl we know. We pray this book helps other children who have to go on this journey.

Love it!
This is a great book for any age even though it is written, "by a kid, for a kid". The story that these friends tell by Stacia's illustrations and Jane's help with telling the story is educational and eye opening. What a brave little girl. Thank you for sharing your story.

Touching
Sweet and honest. Sure to be beneficial for children diagnosed with cancer. The hand drawn pictures are precious, and the author sounds like a very strong little girl.

This book was well received
I purchased this book for a little friend who has the same cancer. So far she has had her gramma read it to her 8 times.

For kids, from a kid's perspective
This book will help any child going through an illness, hospital stay, or treatment. It is in Stacia's words, and it isn't complicated. "Stay strong!" is powerful coming from another child.I think her words and photos capture her feelings about the ordeal of cancer treatment, and it might inspire other children to write down their feelings too.

Doesn't work on kindle
The introduction is impossible to read, as the font is too small and changing the font size has no effect. In the rest of it, the font is a bit small but just about readable, although the pictures are so faint that they do not show up at all well. It's a nice idea, and it's a nice book, but the formatting problems make this kindle version a waste of time.
