Tall, hard to steer.
My older kid has a fancier model of the same brand, so I thought this simple one was maybe better for my younger kid. I was wrong! The handles are quite high, and steering is worse than the other model. On this one, the outside wheel likes to come off the ground on turns and tip over. The plastic board seems flimsier than I would expect from something you stand and ride on. That said, it rides smoothly, and the detachable handle is a nice simple design. I like that the wheels light up, but there are no batteries or "on" switches to forget about.

My son loves it!
This scooter was beyond easy to put together. It was simply two pieces that snapped together. I saw a lot of other reviews about how it doesn't turn easy...which is true, however if anyone notices...there are two wheels up front which will automatically limit your turn capacity and radius. The description additionally states in the beginning "It's an easy lean-to-steer scooter perfect for beginners". They have to lean to steer it and the two wheels limit the turn capability (which for my almost 2 year old is perfect cause I don't need him making super sharp turns and falling).I included a picture of my son on it. He is 34" tall in that picture and he easily can reach, hold onto and steer with the bars. That was on the bar height adjustment at level zero.Personally I think this is a great starter scooter, which will let him get used to balance, pushing off and simple steering/leaning techniques before moving him to a scooter that has a single wheel up front and a wider range of steering.Love it and so does he!
