Like many others have said the holes needed to be bigger. I increased their size with a sharp drill bit and a fair bit of patience. Not ideal if I'm honest but now it works brilliantly. The perch is big enough for four sparrows to feed at the same time and it holds enough that I don't need to refill every day. It's a decent product let down by the restricted flow of the seeds. I had the thing out for ages completely full and the birds just couldn't get at the seed. Since I increased the size the birds can't get enough.It is made of cheap plastic so I'll probably need to replace it in a year or two but I'm fairly pleased with it now I've got it working.

Well made ,filling a little fiddly and messy. Had it a week and not a single bird used it yet as far as I know.

Used for a week. Wire support snapped/ came apart. Disappointing.Also seed doesn’t flow out easily needs bigger gaps for the seed to come out of.

Once you find the way in it’s easy. Follow the wire to the small circle on the top, gently pry this apart from the body making sure it’s held firm so it doesn’t drop, it was a bit tight and almost invisible. Once you’ve got it open fill it up and Don’t Push Lid on again or you have to pry it open with the possibility of cracking the PLASTIC. I’ve always bought metal types but I couldn’t find one. I’m not keen on these but there is less waste as the seed doesn’t gush out plus budgies can’t throw it out saving me money in seed. They look good and the birds benefit from a decent perch on it. If it was metal I’d have been really pleased. It’s an ok product just not perfect.

Im disappointed with this purchase. The opening for the seeds to fall through are too small. I have to empty it, fill it up and shake it around..... also have put seeds in tray. Useless if its wet!

The feeder itself looks good enough for the money.Took time to work out how to put the seed in.Would have been helpful for an instruction note. Nice item for the price. It is plastic but still looks good.
