I usually only buy name brand footwear but decided to give these a try due to them being a steel toe slip on boot. Hated dealing with the laces on my Carhartts whenever I have to change my work gear mid shift. These boots have performed very well and the workmanship is pretty good. Better than the Wolverines I had before. Easy on/off and very comfortable to walk/stand around all day. No issues walking through puddles or working in the rain. As long as the water doesn’t reach the elastic band part near the ankles. The elastic part is water resistant though, just not water proof. They’re not terribly heavy but I wouldn’t call these light weight.My only complaint is these could breathe a little better. My feet have been cooking in these since the weather warmed up. So much that I brought a different pair of work boots for the summer. But I guess this is just a trade off for having a waterproof boot. I haven’t used them in the snow yet but I think they should be fine. Will buy again once they wear out.

I was looking for a new work boot and didn’t want to go with red backs or red wings mainly due to price. I found rock roosters by luck. The pictures are very accurate to the build, look and quality of the boot. I’m a big guy 6’3 245lbs and the stock insoles are really good not quite walking on clouds but they are up there, all the stitching and leather are top notch and the boot as a pretty thick sole. The only cons I’d say are the soles are a little hard for my liking and the boots are a little heavy. That being said my back and knees don’t hurt at the end of the day and it’s not causing me any fatigue issues. Overall great boot and great cost point

So for background my job is being a mechanic in the navy. I'm a size 9 but the sizing guide said order 1/2 size down which I did fits pretty good honestly.So I'll start off with the elastic part of the boot, it fit really nicely like amazing then it started feel like the equivalent of just not tying your normal steel toes and slipping your feet in them which is your call on if it's good or bad.Next is the inner lining oh boy oh boy THESE DO NOT BREATHE LIKE BE PREPARED taking these bad boys into the engine room will ensure ur feet leave in a pool of sweat like it's not like your standard issue boot where it's just leather and nothing else the inner lining is like for a winter boot or something, this is my main annoyance with them as you can imagine taking these off in a crowded berthing isn't exactly the best.As for the heel itself it's nice has memory foam that'll probably die in a month but the heel is thick and for my feet the shape is pretty nice and comfy.If you plan on taking these to the bilge to paint and needle gun recommend just sticking to ur normal boot bilge dust is gonna collect on these.Overall if it's on sale I would get them again. I bought these as a cheap pair as my old boots finally died and red wings didn't have my size in store.

This boot is so easy to slip on and take off at home, during work I have not had it come off. I work in irrigation, so my boots normally get soaked, but the only way these get soaked is if you dip your feet in a puddle that is above ankles. Brought a pair for my coworkers. Recommend, make sure to order wide if you have a wider foot, shoes break in nice and are the best boots I’ve had.

It’s a very comfortable shoes. They are great as they said. Very strong shoe I love it

Probably avoid these if they aren't snug in all areas when you put them on. These ruined my heels for a couple days cost me a job/gig by mowing my lawn, but who needs 1-2k cash for easy work in this economy lol. Only got the run around by seller and amazon when I inquired about reimbursement for lossing work to this. For the sellers sake I do think amazon is the liable one. Fairly sure they have insurance for this exact situation. One of them at least.

My feet usually hurts with boots and I like feeling like am walking bare footed like sneakers. These are slightly heavy due to the steel I guess but nothing to worry about.The feet so nice and I don’t want take them off. My regular shoe size is USA women size 9 (10.2” foot length) and ordered these in a men 7.5. It’s not tight nor loose. Just have enough space for my feet to breathe even in socks.Please get it.I’ll update later after a month or so. But so far I love it.

They only thing is that it left a spot on my right heel removed the first layer of skin. So I let it heel whore them again for 8 hours did the same thing on the same foot.
