I loved the idea of being able to easily freeze smaller portions of soups and things like that, then pop them out and put them in freezer bags to maximize freezer space. Filling them was easy. Snapping the lid on... not so easy. The sides kept giving out on me as I struggled to snap the lid in place. It was frustratingly difficult to get it to actually latch. And, as much as the sides kept buckling with the cranberry sauce I put in them (thankfully, I only filled them half way, or I'd have had a horrible mess to clean up!), I couldn't imagine using these for more liquidy things, like soup. I'm going to have to practice putting the lid on before attempting to use them for soup. Overall, I don't recommend them.

It is just my husband and I. We bought this so we could portion sauces, sounds and casserole’s. It works great except when I went to get the food out of the mold. The hart plastic lip around the edge broke. It is still usable and I understand why it’s there. Just be careful when you pop the food out. Don’t twist it like an ice tray push on the bottom and the food pops out. I pop the portions into food saver bags and seal! The pictures are of tomato soup made with our homegrown tomatoes.

Sturdy flexible meal prep device - I use it for freezing soups and sauces. It is easy to get the frozen blocks out because the silicone is still flexible when frozen. Then I put the blocks into large freezer ziploc bags 4 at a time, saves a lot of space in the freezer. The portions are a perfect size for a day's cooking.
