Soothing & Hydrating
Having combination skin, I tend to often prefer a facial moisturizer that provides you with plenty of moisturization, but is thin enough to absorb well without too much dewiness or oiliness left behind. This is exactly what this facial cream does. You can feel both the oil and the water as soon as you apply this to your face. It glides across the skin like a good, clean oil, yet you can feel the thinness of the water as it soaks into the skin. It absorbs well and sets somewhat quickly. The first ingredient on the product list is water. Yet there are still enough emollients in this cream to soften the skin and make it more supple and elastic. Feels very soothing as it's being applied. Once it sets, it does not leave the skin feeling oily or greasy, though it does feel moisturized. Helps to diminish fine lines with repeated use. Will make the skin look brighter and healthy.Seems to be very clean and has not caused me any sort of irritations or other problems. Easy enough to also use along the neck without it greasing up your jewelry, clothing, or other items.Good for all skin types and ideal for those of us with combination skin. Also good for men, as well as women.

Somewhat reminiscent of Botanic Heal
The jelly-like texture of this face cream is somewhat reminiscent of Botanic Heal (BOH) Derma Water Ceramide Gel Cream, another product I've tried in recent years, but Dermelect lacks the absolutely phenomenal scent of BOH. And because both products have provided similar lackluster results for me, and Dermelect currently costs roughly 18x that of BOH per ounce, it would be a no-brainer to get BOH instead. I've been using Neutrogena Triple Protect Face Lotion for Men a long time, and I've come to realize that while Neutrogena really is the holy grail of men's post-shave lotions, other face lotions not necessarily marketed for this purpose also work well. Sometimes considerably much better than post-shave lotions. For example, I offered a disclaimer in a review for OxygenCeuticals Post-Procedure Skin Care kit that "I haven't been using it as part of a post-procedural routine, but for post-shave facial care, which can sometimes feel like a dermatological procedure has taken place, albeit as an endless daily occurrence." I use face lotions either after I shave with a blade, or after using my stubble guard, and I was fairly disappointed with this Dermelect product. What admittedly caught my attention when first seeing this product is the logo, which breaks down "Dermelect" as follows: "DER-ME-LECT". I'm German, and immediately noticed the leading "DER", which means "THE" in the German language, but the rest of the breakdown doesn't make any sense from this perspective. It would make much more sense if "Dermelect" was broken down like "DERM-ELECT", because "derm" is another word for "dermis", which means skin, and doing so would suggest that one's personified skin would choose this product if given the choice. Well, someone else's skin, not mine. Another reviewer here complained about the lack of a full ingredients list in the product description, but this is easily found on the side of the box. Some of you might be interested in the photo that I took of the box before throwing it out along with the jar of product.

Nice cream
I'm having some great results with bakuchiol, which I've been using for several months. No matter what kind of retinol I tried-- whether prescription or over-the counter, whether time released, etc., my skin would really react with it. I never stopped peeling. I started wondering, what is the point to all this if I'm ALWAYS peeling with the hope of improved skin if I'm ALWAYS peeling. My skin wouldn't get used to any retinoids at all. The lowest dosage made no difference and the new (expensive) time released cream designed to reduce peeling didn't help. Over the counter made a little difference but not too much. I peeled, just less. The bakuchiol, though, is phenomenal. My skin is visibly improved and moisturized and it seems actually thicker.I've been using it for about six months and see a difference in the tone and texture of my skin. This particular cream feels great on my skin. It doesn't cause any irritation at all, yet my pores are more refined, smaller, and I have less breakouts. My skin seems smoother and more polished. I have less peeling, less dead skin when I exfoliate. This is an excellent cream and it smells great. Recommended.

Soothing Moisture Barrier Cream
The Dermelect Flawless Bakuchiol Treatment came well packaged in a box and a clever container with a large twist top and includes a small applicator. It is a lightweight, lightly scented cream that soaks in quickly. It leaves a moisture barrier that coats, soothes and protects the skin. I like to use it at night as a moisture mask. My skin looks smooth and radiant in the morning and I can still feel the residue of the cream. The Bakuchiol treatment is an alternative to retinol based creams. It does not irritate and would be a good choice with those with sensitive skin. It's also safe to use before going out in the sun.Made in the USA~ Kort
