I think this product is exactly what I need for my cell phone. I have been trying to use one I bought from Walmart for a lot more money that clearly wasn't what I needed even though I had asked for a charger for my LG phone their store. I ordered a charger from Amazon on Wednesday and received it yesterday, Thursday. Wow! And, this much lower price item seems to be working exactly as it should. I am so happy that I decided to buy it from Amazon. I have been very happy with items from Amazon for quite some time now, but this takes the cake. Thank you Amazon!

For an OEM charger this is an excellent price and like a few other reviewers I compared the charger with the one I received with my LG phone and with the exception of the S/N they are identical in every way both physically and the voltage and amperage outputs. So I'm convinced that the charger really is LG OEM Original.The problem I had was with the micro-usb connector which seemed loose and would easily lose connection. The review by Paul Clifford covers this in detail and he is absolutely correct. There are different cables all with the LG logo but atleast one version is seriously defective.I contacted the seller and he quickly sent a replacement. The new cable works fine and is much more like my original cable and though there is still a little wiggle it does not lose connection so everything works fine now.The cable that I had issues with has more shine, is a little bit harder and "feels" cheaper, the new cable looks and feels identical to my original LG cable but has a little wiggle so I still felt it may not be an OEM cable. However if you read the title of this product carefully "LG OEM Original USB Home Charger with USB Data Cable" it can be interpreted two ways either both the charger and the cable are OEM original OR just the charger is OEM and a data cable is included.The charger is the main part which is excellent and at a good price, I doubt the cable is truly OEM so normally I'd give this 4 stars overall BUT the seller was easy to contact and quickly made matters right so 5 stars.

I am HAPPY ! Shipped very fast! Item was mostly as described - maybe BETTER: It IS OEM LG ( 'LG' molded into plastic on USB cable, and on label on AC adapter. The data cable works fine connecting my LG Env Touch / VX11000 to PC and also connected to the AC Adapter. The cell phone did NOT complain (as it did with cheap NON-OEM cable I bought a year ago from different vendor). I measured shield of standard USB plug to Micro USB plug with Ohm Meter, and they are connected. (The cheap cable from a year ago was NOT ! The Original AC adapter that came with my VX11000 had a protrusion covering the USB port (same as model in picture on Amazon). This (newer, I assume) version is a bit smaller (smallest I have seen, actually), and a squared off shape with no protrusion. Same current (as my original): Label says Voltage = 5.1 @ 0.7Amps - so Adapter should also run other standard USB devices (which are supposed to use up to 0.5 amps).Bottom Line: I am ordering 2 more - to leave cable in car (for emergency), and at GF house.Now ... if I could just find OEM LG 12VDC Auto to USB adapter for under $5 ...

Finding my LG optimus phone when in heavy use sucks up the battery life I would find my self taking the cord and moving it to the car to recharge the battery when it was low, works well but seems that the cord would find itself inside the car when I was in the house and hearing the low battery sound I would have to go to the garage and unplug the cord and bring it back to the electric charger. Ordered 2 of these now i have one for the car one for my luggage and the original stays in the home. Shipping was fast the product is very similar to my OEM charger I recieved with my LG Optimus Virgin mobile phone so it does superb with that phone I read other LG types might need a different one but for me this was excellent. Suited my needs.

The cable/plug combination for my LG VX9100 cell phone has had mixed results. The USB cable by itself charges my phone successfully and additionally permits me to download data and pictures to my PC. On the other hand, the wall plug into which the USB cable connects failed to permit charging. On two attempts to use it, by plugging the head into the wall and connecting my phone to it with the cable, the telephone's (brand-new) battery was drained totally of all energy.So, considering the very low price I paid, I am happy with the USB cable by itself. The "vampire" behavior of the wall plug makes it unusable.Addendum: the wall plug does work properly with my wife's USB cable for her Blackberry. So, what is the reason for incompatibility among different cellphones?

This LG OEM Original Home Charger with USB Data works fine to charge my LG phone, my early model Kindle, and to charge my portable [hone charger. My original LG phone came with a charger that was permanently attached to the wall plug. The fact that the charging cable dethatches from the wall plug gives me more options on how and where I can charge these devices. With so many devices needing to be charged via USB ports, this cable can be used via some type of gang charger and takes up only one outlet.

There are some seriously well written reviews that get into the super fine details of this product. I purchased this to charge my LG G3. The other charger I had started to cause my phone to tell me it was "Slow-Charging." Purchased and used this charger, and no slow-charging messages, and it charges my phone just as fast as the charger that came with the phone (that I lost soon after getting the phone.) Best I can say is I have no complaints.
