There was some kind of paper stuck to it and wouldn't come off. Could not give it as a gift as intended!

This is a beautiful piece. I was hesitant to purchase as I read the previous review about a paper stuck on it that wouldn't come off. But I decided to take my chances and figured I would return it if necessary. It arrived in perfect condition and there is no paper on it causing any cosmetic issue. The only paper on it, is the sticker you need to peel behind the glass image. I am not attempting to peel it, because this is for a gift. However, I have purchased 2 of these before..and yes..that film is tricky to remove. So I think this might be what some are talking about. I cannot remember how I removed it, because I purchased the other ones last year, but I do remember having some trouble and I believe I had to wash and scrub a little. Once you get that off and if you are lucky and get off properly the first time...these 3D lights are really pretty for any child's room. Would buy again!!
