Milk-Bone Brushing Chews (Small/Medium)

My dog loves these chews. It is his nightly treat. My vet told me my dog does not need teeth cleaning. He is nw 2 1/2 years old. She was amazed I was nt brushing and told me there was virtually no build up. I know I should still probably brush his teeth and not rely solely on these but if you are going to give a treat to your dog at least these provide pleasure as well as a health benefit.

My dogs love them, but they're pricey.

Gave chew to finicky adult dog. While nibbling, she looked at me as if to say "Good Job!" Tail wags each treat presentation. The 40 chews price makes this a good value. Spunky gives it a "Paws Up !"

Our dog loves these and they are a great supplement to actually brushing your dogs teeth. We give this as a treat to our Aussie every morning after she puts up with me brushing her teeth. Every morning around 7 she comes to me begging for me to brush her teeth because she knows she gets this afterwards. Her teeth are pearly white because of this habit. Only negative is they are expensive.

Even with regular brushing one of my dogs still had tartar build up. These bones have removed much of the tartar. Some of the ingredients concern me (trypolyphosphate, yellow6, yellow5, BHA, titanium dioxide). Since my dog is getting older (8), and although in good heath, I want to avoid the possibility of future dental work with anesthesia.Because of the very good results I decided to use this product. I wish they would preserve naturally and who cares about color so they should skip the dyes. Writing this I decided to contact the company - maybe if enough of us do contact them it will help. I alternate with Greenies GREENIES Original Regular Size Dental Dog Treats, 27 oz. Pack (27 Treats)  but I'm not sure from reading reviews if they work as well so use both.

My dog goes to the pantry every night at 700pm and waits for us to get one of these "bones" for him - it is his ritual.He evidently loves the flavor and texture. He is a chewer and so the one he gets every night is gone in 15 minutes. His teeth and breath are very good. The vet always notices that his teeth are sparkling clean - I am sure its from his nightly ritual with these. They do not cause any stomach problems with our boy. And they do not have any dog treat coloring or odor. We will keep buying them.
