Rapid imaging.
I come from the industry. This really does only take 5 seconds to set your transparency into the coated screen. Hold it about a little less than a foot above the transparency on the silkscreen, turn it on and count to 4 then turn it off. If you leave it on too long it will take forever to wash out your screen. But I suppose that will also depend on what emulsion you use to coat the screen in. I use the PWR (purple) Eco I believe. That should get you the search result. I’ll fix it if I’m wrong.

Great replacement for halogen lamp
I got this to replace my halogen lamp (bulbs have such a short lifespan compared to LED) and I'm glad I made the switch. The on/off switch is convenient, and the overall size is much smaller and lighter than than my halogen lamp. I'm glad I made the switch!

Worth the money
Products works well, I’ve had no problem with burning out a screen The instructions could be a little better but the basics are there and it worked for the distance and the time selected for my set up. I bought another one to cover bigger screens.

Speedball products are reliable
Speedball products are mostly reliable. There are much better high end products for UV light. But this does the job for smaller projects.

Works
I purchased the Speedball 30W LED UV Exposure Lamp for Screen Printing at a local art store, not on Amazon. It works and is a necessary tool for the photo emulsion part of the screen printing process. In the attached image, the lamp is hung 15 to 18 inches above a 10x14 inch screen, glass down over transparency, for 7 minutes. To be specific, the Speedball 30W LED UV Exposure Lamp is the little black thing, top right, hanging underneath the OttLite.A second picture shows the cured emulsion after having washed out the uncured parts (under the black ink on the transparency in the first picture).

Dissapointed
Plugged it in, flicked the switch, nothing happens. The whole lamp completely did not work right out of the box.

Not a US plug
Was about to use this and go to plug it in when I noticed it's not a US plug.
