BicycleCable Lock with Key - 3 Ft. - Colors May Vary

What did I expect? I got what I paid for, they all disintegrated within in couple of months. Then I would use a new one, and replace it when it broke. What did I use it for? I was locking my motorcycle cover on my bike.

This was purchased for a kindergartener's first bike lock. It is simple enough to work; turn key to unlock and press lock ends together to lock. I love that it does come with 2 keys so that way I can keep one with me in case my son lose his key. There are two reasons for 4 stars. The first one is that the key can be difficult to turn sometimes resulting in difficulty unlocking the mechanism. Second, the coil of the cable is very tight which makes it difficult to get straightened in order to wrap it around something to lock the bike to. I'm sure this will lessen as the cable is manipulated over time.Overall, it is a good simple lock for a child to learn how to keep their bike safe.

This is about what you'd expect.. the price is right for the product. The plastic sheath is comfortably thick, the key isn't as low-grade as many you might have seen, and while the overall length isn't anything to get excited about, it is as long as the 36" claim stated it would be.On the whole, I'd recommend it to anybody looking for a good, budget-level cable lock. Make sure 36" is enough... but if it is, and you are looking for an economy purchase, this would be a good one.

It is a good lock but I must warn you it is NOT MASTER LOCK, you may think that it is considering in the photo there is white writing that says Master Lock. It is a ok lock but it is not what I expected. I was hoping for a Master lock item and the keys are plain metal they do not have the black cover, I think that I am gonna return it so then i can buy them a better lock!

COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT MORE STURDY

This item is not correct I just ordered one it was not even the picture that is looks like. How it was like for mine was not even 3ft, the head of the lock is yellow not black, I personally think I just got scammed for $6 its not worth the money to buy something that not even the real deal, NOT 3 FT PEOPLE!!!! One loop and its good to be lock, not a single loop for a bike,hope my bike doesn't get stolen... :l This is very disappointing to have something that is not even the picture of the item.

I actually got this lock to put around the gate of our chainlink fence until we can get a hole drilled in the driveway for the stopping post. It works well for my application and was exactly as described.

The third time I used it the key bent. I had to walk home and get my spare key, walk back to my bike to unlock it and ride home.Then the rubber piece that goes on the part that goes into the lock shifted and the lock wouldn't lock because the rubber piece was covering the metal piece that goes into the lock.I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who can afford a better lock.
