Works pretty good so far by our back door. Lots of dead bugs stuck at the back door. Also noticed some reviews that say the bulb is burned out shortly after having it but the bug light/zapper still works... If you turn your light switch on then off again real quick and back on again, its feature that will shut off the light but leave the zapper working if you dont want the light on. So, on-off-on, will shut the light bulb off and vice versa to turn it back on. Ours works perfectly as described!

I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 because it does not seem to have UL rating. I have not had a problem with mosquitoes but had some pantry moths. I cleaned out the kitchen but could not get rid of the last moths. I left this lamp running day and night and made sure it was the only light in a dark room. Sure enough it got all the remaining moths. This is a "bug zapper" but is different than the traditional ones. There are many models of bug zappers that when a bug enters the grid you hear a zap. With this one the grid voltage is about 800 volts instead of thousands of volts. There is no zapping sound but when the bug enters the grid the 800 volts is enough to zap them. It gets the job done as a bug zapper but also is an LED light. It is possible to use the light and zapper together. Each time you cycle the lamp of and on it changes from only LED to both to zapper only. I bought the Vicksune as well as the iHomy. They both seem to work with similar performance and both zapped the small moths. I'm posting the same review for both products since they seem to have the same performance and quality.Update 8/20/2019: This lamp has been on 24/7 for about a year now and it is still functioning. When I check the lamp, I find multiple pantry moths that have been zapped and need to be brushed off into the trash. I have found, though that the lamp does not attract and zap every moth so I see an occasional moth flying. I have to rate this lamp as only partially effective in performance. I still give it four stars because it still zaps quite a few moths.

I need a bug zapper for outside and the description stated for inside/outside use.But the manual stated for indoor use only, and the information on the box does not mentionthat's it's for inside only.I'm sending it back. It may work just fine indoors

I have never rated a product with one star.... This LED light is great as a light, but the bug zapper has not caught one bug. All this while I smacked over a dozen bugs out of the air with my hands. As I write this there is one swarming around my head.I am trying to use it on a porch so maybe that is why it is not working but over the week that I had it on, it has done nothing other than being a cool led light. I just wished it would catch some bugs so I was not so itchy!!!

This is a very advanced invention, multi-purpose mosquito elimination lights! Not only is the design beautiful, but also the lighting is very bright, very worthy of recommendation of a good product! Lighting effect is also very good! Highly recommend !

This bulb lasted 30 days with regular use, never left on overnight as it faces my bedroom window so it is always turned off at night. I have taken the bulb out. No dead bugs in the cage around the bulb. Bugs still flying around on the patio. I do not recommend this product as a lightbulb or as an insect killer.

Liked the light and manually turned on nightly about 10pm and off at 5-6 am. Several very small flying insects caught over about 9 months and then the light went out. Good idea but poor lifespan compared to my other bulbs.

Works great for what it is. I ended up cutting half of the plastic supports out and 1. It made it difficult to clean, 2. Most of the bugs here would just sit on the supports as they were to big to get inside to the kill zone. The LED light is bright also.
