love these
these are definitely water proof and so far have held up very nicely.they are definitely a little stiff and took some getting used to but i've hiked 5+miles in them through snow/mud and they worked real well. good working shoes for a slightly wet environment as well.

TOUGH shoes, a benefit and a downfall
As you can see from the photos, I put these shoes to the test through mud and dirt and water. The good news is that they do exactly what they are supposed to do. They are rugged, COMPLETELY WATERPROOF, and I have no concerns at all about walking through any kind of mushy terrain in the early springtime when the ground is soft and muddy. I bought these specifically because of the waterproof aspect of them. They look great, although on the website the color was a little more of a golden-ish brown, and these were almost completely army green. Keep that in mind if this color attracts you.I have a few criticisms of these shoes. My number one criticism is the fit. This is hard to describe accurately and fairly because they are, sort of, comfortable - once you break them in. However, after an extended period of time, I get to the point to where I am ready to get them off. For me, the toe box is just a little too narrow. Because of the stiffness of these shoes, there is absolutely no give in them at all, so I do find that after walking around in them for multiple hours, I am ready to take them off. In addition to the stiff toe box, the heel is a MAJOR gripe of mine. The heel of the shoe does not capture the heel of my foot AT ALL. Each step I take, my heel is pulling up out of the bottom of the shoe, so imagine taking 10,000 steps in these... that's a lot of skin irritation and potential blisters. When I wear these shoes for a long time, I make sure to prep by putting a large bandaid on both heels to dampen that friction. I read other peoples' reviews before I purchased these and this was a common gripe of other people, so it is very real with the design of these shoes. The general construction of these shoes is that they are VERY tough and stiff, but they are meant to be that way because of their intended use. With that being said, there is hardly any give in these shoes at all, so it is easy to get sore feet in them if you wear them for long periods of time.Overall I think these are a killer design of a shoe, and they do their job well. Just be aware that there is absolutely a need for a break-in period with these shoes. Don't expect to put them on and wear them all day right out of the box. You will definitely have to plan out shorter sessions in them at first until you have them broken in, and even after that they are pretty stiff. In conclusion, I am happy with these shoes, but they do leave room for improvement in a few fit aspects. If they release a future version and improve upon some of those gripes, they would for sure have a five-star shoe.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!
I was hesitating when buying new hiking shoes because they’re expensive so I did a ton of research. I bought these because people seemed to like the performance on wet rocks and those reviews were helpful! I hiked a volcano in the rainforest in Costa Rica and these not only did they perform they kept my feet dry up until the very end of the hike which was about 4 hours. I’m the pouring rain and In comparison to the other people I was hiking with, mine outlasted theirs! Slippery rock? Doesn’t exist in these shoes . Had to break them in a little bit where your foot creases the shoe but other than that, these beat my Merrill’s by a landslide in comfort. I hiked 16 hours in Merrill’s and they were so rough I couldn’t move the next day but these adidas did the same hike with little to no soreness and I felt like I could have kept hiking!! These top brand hiking shoes out there, I can’t speak for all of them but I can promise these are a safe purchase and you’ll be satisfied 110%. I’ve had 2 friends buy them because of how much of a difference they are .

Supportive for hiking and working or walking, but a bit stiff to start off.
If you have high arches and flexible feet, these give good support. They are a bit stiff and heavy if you are a runner. Great for walking or hiking or gardening. A bit bulky looking and probably would get caught in a bicycle stirrup, but really support flexible feet. I wear bulky socks like heat holders, even in the summer and get half size higher with toe separators between big toe and second toe. This give wonderful support for long days walking, hiking, shopping, standing in lines, or anything that pounds your feet. Even cooking.

Great grip in wet conditions, too much heel movement
I hike 10-12 miles of wooded trails each week. In warm and dry weather, an old pair of New Balance sneakers has done the job quite well. But with fall setting in and winter to come, I needed something with more grip and ideally, waterproof. The tread on these tires — ahem, shoes — is great for damp and wet soil, gravel, etc. Small to medium size tree roots don't pose much of a problem. Walking on asphalt feels a bit like wearing cleats, and will likely wear them down quickly, so don't do that. Stick to grass, dirt, mud, and snow with these. While they're a bit stiff out of the box, after a few miles they seem to have loosened up some.Unfortunately, some of the other reviews listing drawbacks are pretty accurate. I am a solid size 12 and with the provided insole (a thin liner), these allow for a little bit of toe movement and a lot of heel movement. Seems like they run a half size too big in these places. Remember those old New Balance sneakers I mentioned? No problems whatsoever, hiking hundreds of miles this year. My first 3.5 mile short hike in these left both my big toes sore on the insides, and I ended up with a one inch blister on the inside of my left heel! I will definitely be putting my preferred sport orthotic insoles in these to use up some of the extra space, and wearing thicker socks as well. All in all: this is a very well made, stylish shoe with a great tread pattern and excellent water resistance, but you might need to jump through some hoops to avoid rubbing, especially in the heel area.

Amazing outdoor shoes!
I disc golf every week and I can day these have saved my toes and ankles from rolling or stubbing a branch. The quality of shoe is remarkable and I will invest in another pair in the future when mine wear down.

Fast break in, accurate size & great for disc golf and hiking.
I wear 11 1/2 wide tennis shoes and they did not have wide as a choice. These fit like I had them custom made. Break in is very short. First time I wore them for disc golf it rained for 3 hours and my feet were the only thing that was dry. Love these shoes.

Feels good.
I tried this shoe on at a Chicago REI store to get my size. Turns out I needed a half size up. Got home and ordered from Amazon and saved 60 bucks. Did a 3 mile walk out of the box and feels fine. No weird fit issues.

Meio rústico.
A sola é meio dura.
