I see in reviews people stating the size of cans has shrunk. This food comes in different sizes, with different prices. I buy both sizes. Great ingredients, the cats love it and mid to lower price for premium food.

My cats love this food.

Solid Gold has been around for as long as I’ve been rescuing cats over 30 years. It’s a trusted brand. This food is smelly but it genuinely has chunks of tuna and sardine. My cat ate tuna cat food daily, along with a variety of kibble. It’s probably better to use this flavor as part of a rotation diet. It is high quality and my cat loved it. Quality ingredients. Right now, The dry food I’m feeding my cat is Solid Gold Pollock. It’s weight management and lower protein since she’s an older cat with kidney issues.

I have 7 cats and it is difficult to find a food they can all enjoy. That being said, 4 out of 7 ate this for several weeks before getting bored with it. And for my wee beasts, that is longer than usual to put up with my unworthy offerings. So I would say in a normal home this would probably go over well with the resident Royals. There are just too many Queens in this domicile for an accurate assessment. Some cats will just be cats, even with a quality product.

My cat used to like solid gold, but over the last 9 months, this cat food has become unrecognizable from the product we originally received. It's soupy and has large pieces of carrot in it. My cat stopped eating altogether, and it was something he really liked! We switched to a different high quality brand and no gravy. He must have been starving - he ate two to three times his normal amount for a few days, catching up to what he needed. Gravy for cats is not good for cats and this brand is so over-rated.

As far as the product goes Great 5 stars. The vendor selling it is meh. The expiration date was April 2025. For me, that is fairly quick, as wet food is not an everyday thing.

This is the best quality pate that I ever get for my cats, they simple love this ! Is real meat, fish, I would keep buying it !
