What is this witchcraft?
I thought I bought trimmer string. Turns out I bought a spool of sorcery! I wound some of this line up into my little sissy trimmer and that mofo started shaking and growling and turned itself into the Incredible Hulktrimmer! Green and everything. Armed with my new found superpower I mowed down not just my lawn, but EVERY LAWN IN MY TOWN. And I never once had to bump the spool to let another inch of line out. On one yard, I just stood at the street, stared at the lawn and pulled the trigger one time. Mowed the whole thing and washed the windows. Can you trimmer string do that?

Best Spool I've Used
This cyclone 0.065 inch spool is superior compared to other brands. Have a Worx trimmer but the line keep getting stuck and I'm constantly adjusting the line all the time. Well Cyclone spool is a lifesaver. Cyclone brand line lasts much longer, cuts through tougher weeds and I'm not constantly adjusting the line every other minute. This spool feels like other brands but it out performs other brands by a mile. Love using my trimmer without worrying about playing around with the feed all day.I also have a much cleaner line around the edges of my yard that my Worx line couldn't do in a million years without constantly going over the same weed over & over again many times. Found my #1 spool provider for all of my trimming/edging needs.

Don't Hate the Trimmer Hate the String
Last year I bought my 2nd Greenworks trimmer, a single line model with edging wheel. It's light and easy to use, but the string broke literally every few seconds and the cuts weren't very clean. I had to keep going over the same spots, with the string breaking literally every couple steps. I blamed the inexpensive trimmer. The last spool that came with it just ran out, and this big spool of replacement line was way cheaper than ready-made spools. I wrapped this on the empty spool in no time, and for the first time ever, edged the entire yard without a single break. The cuts were clean and quick too, no do-overs, so I finished in less than half the time. My edging has never looked this nice, and a neighbor asked what lawn service I was using. That sealed it. When I was wrapping it I could feel a major difference in this and the Greenworks string. I'll never go back as long as this is available. Highly recommend for price and performance.

Excellent product.
I used this as a replacement for the Gardenline trimmer we bought at Aldi. That trimmer uses .055" line, but I was able to make this one fit since .055" line is very hard to come by and the Gardenline replacement spools are very expensive. Buying a roll of line and re-spooling it yourself is by far a better value and very easy to do. So far, this line does a much better job than the one included with the trimmer. It makes quick work of tough weeds that previously caused the trimmer to give up. I'm not a trimmer expert, but from what I can tell, the .065" size is very common. If you have such a trimmer, this roll of line is very economical and performs quite well.

Buy this instead of spools/other lines.
Do yourself a financial favor and purchase this. Regular spools cost around $10.00 both where I live and on Amazon. What I recommend is buying 2 full priced spools for around $15-$20 on Amazon along with this material. Use one spool as your working material and one as a backup. Just wind the one that isn't being used and you won't ever run out of line.I bought this product at the start of this season and I think I'm going to probably use a little over 1/2 of it by the time Fall comes around. With this said - I already had a few spools, so my cost of trimming this season is really only the cost of this wire + my electricity used for the trimmer. Considering I don't have to go out every week and buy a $10.00 spool, this line is going to save me literally hundreds of dollars over the course of this season.

I'll never use anything else.
OMG...this makes so much difference! I use this to refill my 40v Black & Decker cordless trimmer's spools. Before, using the string that comes with the Black & Decker, I couldn't trim my whole front yard in one go before the battery ran out. Now, I zip right through the job. It probably takes me half the time it did before. I used to be covered in dirt when I finished--ugh!--but with this string, the trimmer kicks up much, much less dirt. It's cheaper, too. Using this to refill my Black & Decker spools was easy. Sure, it voids my warranty on the Black & Decker, but who cares? It seems to me that Black & Decker makes a lot of money on its ridiculously expensive refills that wear out really fast because you have to use it twice as long to trim the same amount of grass. This stuff is much, much cheaper, easier to use, cleaner, & faster. I'll never use anything else. Do yourself a favor and buy an expensive pack of refill spools--but throw out the string that comes with them and replace it with this stuff.

This string really cuts through the weeds.
Really allows my battery powered Black and Decker trimmer to act like a much bigger machine. This string really cuts through the weeds. The only problem I've had has been the auto-feed on my trimmer doesn't always spool it out. So I find myself stopping and pulling another few inches out. The square shape of the line seems to be sensitive to how it overlaps in the spool. I think the key is don't fill the spool a lot, as it seems to be improving with less string on the spool. Next reload I plan to only fill half the spool.

Wish it was 5 instead of 6 sides
The title says it all. 5-sided line is sharper than the hexagonal 6-sided line sold here. I haven't seen the pentagonal kind in years, so this hexagonal stuff will have to do instead. It still works WAY better than the round stuff... why is the round kind still being made and sold???? That's crazy, GET THIS KIND INSTEAD!Just make sure you order the correct size. This size here is for the light duty electric and battery powered trimmers; you could get away with it in a light duty gas powered trimmer, but you'd really want to get a thicker size for bigger jobs.
