Optima 365 for Cats 16 oz

My cats can tolerate this...the smell if a bit fishy. I can tell a difference in their coat after 4 weeks. Still some shedding, but not as much as before. Usually I start out by giving them both a 1/4 or less to their food., once a day. After about a 1 month they were used too it.

I had ordered this for our outdoor cat that seemed to have dry skin compounded with terrible shedding. She would constantly groom herself with no improvement. I have been using the product for approximately 6 weeks and have had a wonderful turn around in her coat. It's shiny, smooth, less shedding, just an all around improvement. I squirt just a small amount on her dry food each morning and she doesn't hesitate to eat. I will definitely be ordering more in the future!

This is the only brand my cats will eat. They actually meow at me to give it to them in the morning. It works too. I have noticed their fur is softer,shedding less and my one cat has dry skin in one spot and it is going away. This is really a great product and cheaper here then at the vets!

My older cat has dander problems so the vet recommended this product. While I was at it I put it in both my cats foodIt might have helped his skin and fur, but after giving him the quantity specified on the package, he got diarrhea. I decided dander was preferable to diarrhea.The other cat ran when she smelled it in her food.So, bottom line, I use it rarely in smaller amounts for one cat and not at all for the other.

My cats did not like this at all.In an attempt to reduce the shedding, I wanted to try this as a convenience for me when feeding by bulking up on Omega 3s & 6s. I used less than the dose recommended for a "transition", they ate it grudgingly because it was the only food available. My cats are fed a raw food diet of mostly ground chix parts. So we're going back to the sardines and salmon etc in a can to provide them with the Omega 3s & 6s.=^..^=
