This sculpture was made in the amazing style of Louise Nevelson, created and signed by myself, Shawn Tyler. There are 3 boxes, the larger boxes are 30 x 18 x 6 inches and the smaller one is 19 x 12 x 6 inches, internally about 5 inches deep.It is the highest compliment to attempt to make something in the style of another artist. In this work I endeavor to capture the feeling of Louise Nevelson's amazing wall assembly art. The larger boxes are 30 x 18 x 6 inches and the smaller is 19 x 12 x 6 inches, internally about 5 inches deep. Having been a fan of hers for a very long time, I have a book about her and spent a long time studying how she put her wall assemblies together. A local lad cobbled some apple crates together for me and after assembling these items I spray painted everything in a nice deep black. As these boxes aren't attached you can put them together in any configuration you like, or even separate them, as you see fit.
