GOLDSTITCH Men Hooded Robe Cloak Knight Fancy Cool Cosplay Costume

All that I had hoped it would be. I am 5' 10" tall and it does not drag the ground when I wear it. The full ness of the hood is good if you wish to hide your head and most of your face. The fit is loose and it lends well to Jedi type cosplay an also to renaissance faire costuming. A simple cool water wash and the folds disappeared. It feels very close to the texture of cloth.

I was surprised to see the quality of the material stitching considering the low price I paid. I bought this robe to be used in the creation of a John Calvin costume. I bought the hat and beanie (see my other reviews on those), and got fur to make the stole collar. Came out beautiful. The hood was not necessary for my application, but the hood is also very nice. I'm keeping this robe for other applications, perhaps a Halloween costume in the future. It is hanging in my closet. This is not the type of costume attire you will soon toss. I really like this robe!

The material feels okay for occasional wear nothing super heavy, but it works for what it’s meant for. If you’re dressing up for Halloween or a themed event, this robe is a solid choice.

I was honestly surprised at how nice this cloak turned out to be for the price! The fabric has a good weight to it—not too heavy, but not thin or see-through either. The stitching is clean, and the hood is large and dramatic, exactly what I wanted for a Sith-style costume. I wore this to a cosplay event and got compliments all day. It pairs perfectly with a belt, gloves, and a lightsaber if you’re going for a Star Wars look, but it could easily work for medieval, wizard, or vampire costumes too. The length was just right (I’m about 5’11”) and it flowed nicely when walking. Definitely recommend this for anyone needing a solid, affordable robe for Halloween, conventions, or theater. Just make sure to give it a quick steam or iron out of the package!

I bought this to cosplay as a wizard during DnD sessions it's a good robe for being costume quality, but it's VERY long.

One of the things I was worried about was whether or not it would be long enough, but I decided to take a chance—and I’m so glad I did! First off, I ended up getting this in a size 2X, and the person wearing it was 5 ft 11 in. It was the perfect length! The cloak actually touched the floor, and I loved that. I also liked how easy it was to put on and take off, and that you have the option to tie it in the front or leave it untied. The material feels durable and comfortable to wear. I recommend this 100%

I bought this cloak for a Halloween party and honestly loved it! The fabric feels much better than I expected for the price — not too thin, not too heavy. The hood looks dramatic and gives a perfect mysterious vibe. I added a belt and boots, and the whole outfit looked amazing. Got so many compliments! Great value and super comfortable to wear.

I bought this for my 15yo son's Halloween costume, but also for the Sarasota Ren. Faire (if we get to go this year). He is 5'11", about 130lbs, and the Large was the perfect length for him, to his shoes. I imagine a larger/heavier adult would also have room in there, as it fit me at 160lbs, but a little long on my 5'7" self. The material is thick, like a curtain, so won't rip or pique like the thinner cloaks. The tie at the top is also sewn on pretty well, so will hold together better than others, too. He will be using a belt around the middle to keep it from flowing, but not necessary if your costume choice needs a flowing cloak... For the Ren Faire he wants it open. The one thing we didn't like was the over-sized hood, but I did see the pics and all, so not a surprise, but small price to pay for a the good material. I plan on folding it a bit and pinning, but again, maybe you want the big hood or want it down anyway. Overall, my son loves it, and that's what matters. Hope he gets use out of it a few times, and I know it will last a while.

5'10" tall and maybe just as much wide. XXL fits me well enough, belly pokes out here and there but such is life when you fall to the dark chocolate side of the cake. Quality on the stitch seems great. The material feels very synthetic but rugged. Not a breathable material at all so this would be a poor choice for someone who gets hot easily or in the summer. This is an absolute win for cooler weather, Halloween being a good example. Being a synthetic material I suspect it will hold the black colour well after multiple washes which may be needed after a nights use. This doesn't drag on the ground when wearing it but it comes very close to the point where taking off my shoes makes it just long enough to begin to touch the ground. No complaints. The hood is big and great for cheesy sith poses with your light saber but in practice it will be a nightmare to look out of if you use it to full affect while walking and dueling. There is a string at the neckline to close this cloak up. Depending on your cosplay of choice this can work for or against you as the bottom half will be prone to opening up. Wearing it fully open work out well and also makes things cooler, using clips can solve this with ease. If you're good with a thread and needle then you can come up with even better solutions including magnet clasps. Sleeves are a decent length as well for photos but for practicality it could use a little hemming if you want clear use of your hands. I love this black cloak, great buy for the price and highly recommended with potential for re-purposing on another costume like a wizard. Also works great as a base cloak to customize with tattered bottom or possibly even go sleeveless?

Material is horrible but it’s a great size and did the job for the event worked well for the costume
