Seems good and fits Porsche 955 Cayenne S
Bought this as it seemed like I was smelling some fumes on startup/idle with maybe some rough idle, and it so far seems good. Replaced my existing diaphragm, spring, and cover with this kit. Everything seemed to be the same essentially and fit as expected on my 2004 Cayenne S. I guess time will tell, but hopefully this holds up in the long run as it's not exactly complex/complicated.

Cap fits 957 with a bit of shaping
Requires a bit of shaping a rounded section to clear the vacuum tubing but worked on my 957 v8 Cayenne. I used a dremmel with a small sanding drum. The plastic is not the strongest so be careful when shaping. The gasket portion seemed an exact match to the one I removed. All sealed well. No long term reviews as I just installed yesterday. Also, I was not able to remove the old cap without it cracking. Likely due to age and being brittle. Just be ready for it to break.

Diaphragm good. Cap? Slightly too big.
The internal diaphragm and spring are perfect and fit like a charm. The black retaining cap that holds the diaphragm and the spring in place is too large. It does not securely fit on the tabs that hold it secure to the valve cover. I am going to have to see if I can order or find an oem one to replace this one because it just does not fit correctly and I am worried about vacuum leaks.

Dont buy this buy oem
After install my car makes a farting noise or like a dude moaning when turning off the vehicle. Also now has a high pitch whine to it when runnjng. Probably due to the loose fitting cap. The original cap fits very tightly, but this one you can move around easily. Would not recommend this part. I installed this after my return window im pretty sure, so now im stuck with it. Everyone on the porsche forums say that buying this is a mistake and i wish that i would have listened.

plastic top not for porsche cayenne 4.8 v8 engin
this part do not fit on a 2008 porsche cayenne 4.8 v8 engine.. the plastic top is cut difference .. only the rubber seal will work if replacing.. try not to break your original top part and take the seal

Fits no problem, but diaphragm and spring are different
Cheap alternative to buying the whole drivers side valve cover which is the only oe option. Cap is decent quality, pretty close to being an exact copy. The diaphragm which is what i really needed was a bit thicker in gauge, so not sure how that impacts how it works, and the spring was longer. I used the new diaphragm only and everything seems ok, although since replacing I have been consuming more oil, coincidence or something else? Oh, almost forgot, the round fluted plate that sits on top of the diaphragm, it was totally warped, garbage, so reused my original one. If you need a new cap this is fine as i think that's about all this kit it good for.

It's a shame it did not fit my Cayenne turbo 4.8, the quality seems ok otherwise

Whatever rubber/silicone/material was used for the membrane is absolutely wrong. It appears to absorb oil and moisture and will swell over time. In 10 months it swelled 10% larger and as a result failed resulting in almost destroying the engine.
