I can't say for sure that the material is pure titanium but it has the feel and weight of titanium. The set seems very sturdy and as mentioned is lightweight. I like the shape of the utensils, which is often overlooked. For instance the shape of the spoon is nice and round and just feels good to use. The knife has a good curve on it and cuts even beef reasonably well. I only wish it had a sleeve or cover to keep it clean between uses.

I’m an avid backpacker, and love saving weight where I can if I’m going to carry it for days. I’ve been slowly replacing a lot of my old steel gear with titanium, and have managed to cut a few pounds off of my pack weight. This cutlery set is now part of that strategy - it’s not cheap, but it’s good quality. The cutlery is a usable size, and each is useful - the spoon has a nice curve, the fork has decent tines, and the knife’s serrations are well made. There’s a little carabiner you can use to hang the cutlery from your pack, or you can use the included carrying sack, which unlike others is big enough to easily carry the cutlery or even a second set. Highly recommended if you’ve got titanium gear in your budget.
