Seems fairly decent quality for this standard alcohol burner design
I bought a separate stand for this but didn't really need it, the supplied "cross" stand actually works ok*IF* you have a stable surface and are careful putting things on it. Use a nice flat surface.I've been using the wrong fuel for this really, I have alcohol gel fuel and it doesn't work brilliantly. You are basically trying to get it to flow from the inside into the outer area and have enough heat on it to vent up as a gas vapour through the holes. Normal liquid flows much better. You CAN get gel to work but it's a struggle, so if you get a burner like this I advise using liquid. The thing really is quite a poweful flame when it gets going it's like a gas cooker, but it's there isn't any control, as in simmer or something. That's the nature of these things though, not specific to this model. I think some people carry tea lights for simmering :)
