Love it!
Item arrived much quicker than anticipated. I didn't receive the '7-pc Tool Kit' but received 4 pcs. (two screwdrivers...the flat head wasn't needed and the phillips head was too big for the screws inside the iPod, a suction cup which also isn't needed and a 'lifter' type tool which is much needed!). After installation of the new assembly, the iPod looks and works great...at least for my headphones and my car jack 'cause I screwed up the speaker. I compared the original face and glass to the new one and didn't see much quality difference at all. I love my new red iPod!A heads up for anyone purchasing, make sure to be veeerry careful when removing the metal plate inside of the iPod. It's very easy to break the speaker (bottom left corner by the home button) and volume cables (upper left side). My plate had a lot of adhesive on the back side of it and the speaker unit came up with the plate and bye-bye blue wire...but nothing a little soldering won't fix. You also might consider buying a second piece of adhesive. I don't know what I did wrong, but I completely messed it up and wished I had thought to get an extra. The new face won't stay down without the adhesive.I would definitely recommend this if you want an iPod that is a little different than what everyone else has. The red isn't quite as bright as in the picture, but it is a true and pretty red and the quality is not noticeably different than the original face. Totally worth the few extra bucks more than the black/white ones cost.

Worked well and added bonus "bling"
I received this kit quickly. I used/watched how to repair videos on YouTube. I have no idea what the suction cup and guitar pick are used for. I used a small knife, the included screwdrivers and some of the adhesive. I also found a lighted magnifying glass and a heat gun to be a big help in disassembly. I was so glad that the video suggested testing it before complete reassembly. I only had a white screen. I removed and reattached the digitizer. The next try it worked great. It took be about an hour (mostly because the wife kept interrupting and I had to restart the video). The only thing keeping me from giving it a five is that the home button is not working easily. I don't know if that is because it had a covering I did not know to remove or some other reason that could be my own ignorance. This was my first and hopefully last time I will drop my ipod. If I had it to do again I would reuse the home button as described in the video I watched just to be safe.

Works well
My kid smashed my iPod screen to bits. Got this because I wanted just a bit of a different look since I had to replace the screen anyway.

ipod screen
it was ok the tools worked great, but screen was broken in package and I didn't find out till I did all the work and installed it, it would be good if they packaged it better maybe in bubble wrap and in a box, and come with instructions, over all was great, and returning it was quick and easy,

Easy install
The screen came as described and was easy to install, though the other reviewers are correct, they break easy. Need to get another one after about 30 days. They are not 4 year-old proof!

Good quality replacment
Worked the second time i tried to install it, you have to make sure the pins are lined up perfectly or the screen will not turn on. No dead pixels, and awesome looking color with no screen bleeding.

Ours was DOA
Ours was DOA - but the company offered a refund. I did order two at the same time - one red, one blue. The blue one worked great. And I got one set of tools. Which was fine by me - I didn't need two.
