STAR WARS Rogue One Sergeant Jyn Erso Imperial Infiltrator

I'm not a huge 3.75" collector anymore, but I do buy the odd one that catches my fancy. As a big fan of ROGUE ONE and Jyn Erso, I had to get this hard-to-find figure. I could care less about the ridiculous missile launcher thingy that she comes with, but the figure itself is great. The removable helmet and Jyn's fingerless gloves are nice touches that set it apart from the regular Imperial Ground Crew figure. There's nice detailing on her uniform and the face sculpt isn't too bad. The ends of the hair strands near both of her jawlines are lacking in brown paint, but that's an easy fix, and aside from that there's not much to complain about. Even the action-based art on the cardback is really nice, though it makes me wish there was a 6" version of this fig with all the extra articulation in order to put it in that sort of pose.

So far, I have bought 3 of these. (2 in December 2017 when they were harder to find & 1 in February 2019 to open)Originally I bought 2 since I'm mostly a mint on card collector with the thought of possibly opening 1. Unfortunately, a lot like the Jedha version with the hood on her head, the bottom tips of her hair rarely get painted so are skin color. I ordered a 3rd with the sole intent to open it and if need be paint the hair myself. For a mint on card collector this is a nice piece, but a loose collector maybe not as much if you care about the badly painted hair. We're talking the vast majority if not all with the bad paint job.Hasbro even used a slightly different sculpt than the regular Ground Crew soldier that this figure's outfit is based on. When I open my new 1, I'll elaborate some more.

I was a little saddened that the helmet did not have the eye slit cut out--her eyes were such an important feature in that scene. Other than that, it's excellent. The little scanner rods even fit snugly into the backpack.

Nice addition to my nephew's Rogue One collection. I regretted not picking it up at the store once I saw it. Goes great with the AT-ACT playset because the figure comes with its own grappling hook.

I love collecting Star Wars action figures and Jyn Erso is one of my favorites.
