Due to other customers’ reviews on these Hush Puppies, Mazin Cayto ankle bootie in powder blue nubuck, the shoe size runs small, so therefore, I had ordered them in a size larger and wide width (9 1/2 C/D).When I received the bootie shoes and tried them on, they were big. I had returned them back to Amazon and I wanted to exchange them to a size 9 M but they did not have them in my size. I am learning that I can not always depend on customers’ reviews because although I can be the same size as another person, our feet have different forms and width. (Smile)

These shoes are awesome. I am wearing them today and my feet are very happy. They are wide enough for my bone spur, they have enough arch support, they have a little give so they don't feel too hard, they have some nice inside cushioning for the heel and on top of all this they look stylish AND they are the right height at the ankle that you can wear them with skinny jeans without trying to figure out what to do with the hem of your jeans!

Very, very, VERY comfortable! No break in period at all - even wearing low-cut socks so that the edges touch my ankles. I have these in light grey and they look great with Spring cropped pants for work. I do find them a little small. I wear between 8.5 - 9 and the 9 in these just about fits. I almost returned them for a 9.5, but figured since I'd be wearing them with thin socks they should be ok. If you're between sizes, definitely order the higher size.

I have wide, flat feet. I also overpronate and have plantar fasciitis. my feet ALWAYS hurt. I’m a teacher so I’m constantly walking around. At the end of the day, after 7+ hours on my feet, these shoes are a blessing! Neither my feet, nor back hurt at the end of the day. Whew! If you’re a teacher. Buy these.

I tired so many pairs that were either tight toe box or slipped in the heel, I had been looking at these for a while, reading the positive & negative reviews. I didn't want to pay over $75 for a pair of ankle boots.but finally decided to order them as just couldn't find a pair that fit right. Oh my gosh, I am SO ! glad I did. They fit perfectly, so comfortable, no heel slip and plenty of room in the toe. I have a kind of square type foot with a narrow heel. I like that the toe is not pointy. I always wear a 7 1/2 M. These are a perfect 7 1/2M, I would say they run very true to size. If you want to wear a thick sock then I would size up . If you are on the fence about trying these, they are worth the price. They are well made and do not look cheap. I wish I had ordered the navy also but now it's out stock :-(

FOR REFERENCE: I ordered my expected 8.5W and its fits perfectly. For reference I usually order a 8.5 wide from Rockport, 8.5 Trotters, 9 Talbots shoes, , 9 Reebok, 9 Nike. These fit exactly as expected I ordered my usual expected size in shoes. I am not a true wide foot but I like room for winter socks.I ordered these because they fall below the ankle (some of the boots that cover the ankle are uncomfortable and don't allow flexing on my feet). I also wanted nearly flat and there are a lot of wedges out there.Style: They have an almond shaped shoe which I prefer so my toes aren't scrunched - some may not like this. The fabric on the toe area has a slightly shiny appearance due to the production in this "vegan" (synthetic) suede. The sole and the heel are formed together and made of rubber this makes these useful for salt, water exposure. The heel measures exactly 1 inch. These look cute with jeggings or cropped ankle jeans (without visible socks).Fit: This boot falls exactly below my lateral malleolus - thus if you have any ankle edema you may be able to wear these boots (versus ankle boots that go to lower calf). Two things I l noticed that may determine whether someone is happy with these boots.1. First, the opening is narrow however even with the outside functional zipper fully opened. The opening of the zipper is limited by an inner fabric gusset which means the zipper only opens about 1 inch. The gusset means cold air wont get in but it also limits the opening of the shoe. Some may find this a tough fit if you have a high instep or limited ankle mobility (example arthritis).2. The functional zipper is on the outside of your ankle and this may be an issue for some.HIGH QUALITY ITEM: The insole is completely removable and washable or replaceable if you wear an orthotic. The sole is sewn on. The dye is even all over and doesn't transfer when wet, and they have strong / smooth metal zippers (not wonky at all).

From the photo, I thought the black was a leather boot. I should have read the description and not just the reviews.With that said, I love how this ankle boot looks on with my skinny straight leg jeans and with my leggings. When I look at my feet, I would think I would wear a wide shoe but that is not the case. I have always wore a B width so, don’t be fooled into ordering a wide width. A lot of the reviews are reading like they do because my bet is that they probably needed a med B width instead of the wide. I have the normal amount of room in my toe box and they feel very comfortable so far. There is a little more room by the heel then I need because when I walk, I can feel my heel slip up. Something I can live with easily because the fact is, they are super cute!

Great fit nice style comfortable fast delivery easy returns if needed. I was nervous ordering these shoes because I seem to have a hard time finding a shoe to fit. I was very pleased

True to size and one of the most comfortable shoes I own. I liked them so much I bought them in 2 other colours. Super cute on the foot too.... my daughter approved and that never happens lol

Just as expected! Cannot go wrong with Hush Puppies! I have size 9 feet that are a bit wide and these stretched to fit perfectly. I get compliments on them at work all the time!

Fit true to size. I have a bit wider foot and it is extremely comfortable. Love the look and the fit.

These boots are awesome! I got the 8.5w and they are perfect for walking in all day. They are really comfy and they go with any dress pant style that I have. They don’t really have a heel which I was worried about.
