I don't think this included gloves as pictured, so that is one negative thing. But the hydraulic/pneumatic cylinder fit and worked as it was supposed to for the chair base for which I had bought it.I cannot say how comfortable (How would this be uncomfortable? This is not the part you sit on!?) or durable it might be since it has only been in use a few days. It works the way a chair cylinder usually does thus far.This seems to have been a good enough bargain. I will update the review if the cylinder stops working or has problems.

The outer cylinder didn't fit my chair, too wide. I must have an odd design. However, I was able to use this by removing the inner piston and placing it in my old cylinder. Minimum height is about an inch more than the original, but fits perfect in the old cylinder and has a good range of heights for me. We'll see how it holds up.

The cillinder it's pretty good. It fits different than the original, a little bit lower as you can see in the picture, goes out about an extra inch and a half, but since doesn't touch the floor is pretty good. The height of my chair with the original cillinder was about the same. The cillinder feels strong and safe. My chair even though wasn't too old, and in perfect cosmetic condition, started to lower itself when sitting and was making a weird rocking noise. The noise is gone and the new cillinder works perfect. Replacing the cillinder I gave the chair about a year of extra use, and save me about $150 and over. Great product for your buck. Recommended.

It was a bit of a challenge to get out of the package. But after that it was exactly what I needed to fix my beloved home office chair which slowly sank to the bottom despite repeated attempts to fix it.I wasn't sure if it would fit but it dropped in perfectly.It also has a nice soft landing built in.

Nice pair of gloves came with each gas lift cylinder. I was skeptical about it being “universal replacement “ but it fit perfectly. And it is about 2” longer than my original but vertical adjustment makes it just right. Original was easy to remove just like shown on YouTube. Price is great.

I thought I was going to have to return because I was unable to remove the old cylinder from my chair. Borrowed a pipe wrench from a friend and presto. The cylinder is compatible with my Serta works chair, a bit longer than the old cylinder and seems to be sturdier too.

Saved me at least a hundred for a new chair. We had to disassemble most of the chair then take a rubber mallet to remove the old part.My husband loves the gloves! They fit him perfectly. What size are they, where can he get more??

Replacement parts were perfect for repair.Getting the old parts off is a pain. Lots of advice and guides on YouTube.No need to spend a fortune on the repair parts that come with removal tool.
