Quality Beyond Their Class... Easy Recommendation!
If you’re producing, mixing, or simply chasing a more honest window into your music, the T5Vs are exactly where you want to be. I picked up a pair to replace my old Pioneer DM-40s, and honestly, my mixes have never breathed this freely. The build quality is superb: clean, modern lines and those golden tweeters that catch the light just right. They’re solid, too. No rattles when you give them a shake (don’t ask why I shook them, lol). The switches and rear volume knob feel firm and deliberate, not the flimsy kind you’re scared to touch. Straight out of the box, setup couldn’t be simpler. Plug in the power, choose your input: RCA or XLR, and off you go. No Bluetooth, but if you’re buying studio monitors, you’re probably not looking for that anyway. You also get room-adjustment controls on the back, which isn’t always standard at this price point. Plenty of budget monitors skip that entirely, so it’s a welcome touch for anyone who wants to dial in their space. That said, in my tiny, untreated room, I didn’t need to tweak a thing. The moment they woke up, the sound was clear, confident, and beautifully honest. Even at low volumes, there’s no muddiness, no haze, just the pure truth of the mix laid bare. All volume controls being on the back is a bit inconvenient, and they do run larger than some other 5" models, so make sure your desk is ready for the upgrade. But beyond that, these monitors feel like a cheat code. Quality on a budget, performance far above their class. If you want accuracy, depth, and clarity without emptying your wallet, these are an easy recommendation.

Unbeatable at twice the price.
I needed a couple of decent near field monitors for working away from home and on the road. I wasn't expecting the T5Vs to be as big and bulky as they are but this isn't a complaint. For the price I was expecting something much smaller. I played back some radio drama that I'd mixed and it sounded very boring and natural. Then I played some music that I'd produced and it sounded big and bold and boomy but perfectly balanced with detailed high end and a flat response across the mids.. Then I played some CDs and heard minor details on old albums that I hadn't noticed before. Previous speakers included more expensive Genelec and Mackie studio monitors but I would say these Adams Audio speakers are comfortably as good as my other monitors but for less than half the price. If the price stays thisnlow I may buy more and a .1 to use them for watching films in surround.

Good product
Good product, but why is the Power On green LED at the back where no one can see them?

Superb, they sound of nothing
I've been into music production for years, many years. I've had lots of monitors. But these are, well, nothing. No "sound" to them, no character, no nothing. They just relay the information that they're fed with. I compose on a Mac using Logic Pro, from there to an SMSL DAC, from there to a Fosi PA with an upgraded op amp, and then to the Adams (along with an active subwoofer). My mixes and mastering have been spot on when tested with other systems. That's due mainly because of the Adams presenting a properly clean signal. Are they Hi-Fi? Nope. Do they suffice as Hi-Fi? Possibly. Are they seriously accurate monitors? Yes, yes and thrice yes. Recording music? Don't hesitate.

Precise sound, solid build - everything you want from a nearfield monitor
The T5V delivers impressively accurate sound for the price. Bass is tight without being hyped, mids are clear and balanced, and the U-ART ribbon tweeter adds crisp high-end detail without fatigue - great for long sessions. Stereo imaging is pinpoint, and it exposes mix flaws with zero mercy (which is the point). Build quality is excellent. The cabinet feels dense and non-resonant, with no cheap plastic vibes. Rear panel includes balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, plus high/low EQ trim controls - useful for room correction if you're not working in a treated space. Despite the 5” woofer, the low-end extension is surprisingly good for a monitor this size, especially in smaller rooms. There’s a rear port, so give it some breathing room from the wall if you want honest bass response. If you're producing, mixing, or just want to stop lying to yourself about how your tracks really sound - these do the job well.

Superlative sound, hard to believe how good ADAM Audio T5v's are!
I am very mean as regards writing reviews, and seldom do so, but I felt duty-bound to tell anyone considering ADAM Audio T5v monitors this: Wow, they are off-the-scale good, do yourself a massive favour, save up and buy some! I am a published composer, educator and home producer and have used Mackie, Tapco, Yamaha, JBL and even the legendary BBC LS35a monitor studio speakers in the past 30 years and these ADAM Audio T5v's are up with the best, being jaw-droppingly clear and joyously accurate. You can hear the most nuanced subtleties right through the depths into your mix and although as flat as a pancake, they are great fun to listen to, revealing so much in every mix and master, this is a real musician's monitor. I can't stop smiling at the sonic results, it makes no sense that they cost as little as they do, the only cost-saving I could mention is the tiny amount of negligible hiss from the Class D amps, but it's not an issue in actual use whatsoever. There is enough bass despite 5 inch woofers for nearly all styles and genres you might work with, and the filters and sound shaping options work a treat for tuning the T5v's to your space. Build quality is as good as anything I've seen, at any price. My brain actually asked 'Is there any way I can I give six stars out of five?' when selecting a start rating. Get some ADAM Audio T5v's, audio friend, you will be glad you did :-)

Quality studio monitors
First, if like me you're coming at these from the combo hi-fi and home studio angle, these are sold as single units like most studio monitors. This allows you to buy as many as you need for the channels you need, but that also means most people will need to order two of these at a time to avoid disappointment. This also allows you to calibrate the channels to each other as each unit has its own volume knob, so you can achieve perfect channel balance on these with a little effort. These are actually my first studio monitor purchase, so I'm unable to usefully compare them to competing products. They have however set a very high bar for what to expect from any nearfield monitors I buy in future, but I won't be looking again for a long time after buying these. Setting these up was extremely straightforward and easy even with no previous familiarity with the XLR plugs I needed to use for these - you just plug in and go. They are quite large, even though the T5Vs are the smallest model of the three so make sure you have the necessary desk space before purchasing these! You will ideally need however a pre-amp (NOT a power amp!) with XLR ports to run this from, so I purchased the SMSL RAW-MDA1 to use with these and this combo has gone strong for over a year now. I have experimented with the trim options on the back but these are designed to correct for acoustic deficiencies in your room rather than as preference switches, so you will probably need to leave them in their standard middle position. I get the impression the sound quality on these would spoil me when comparing them to competing products in the same price bracket. I originally purchased these because I needed something to be able to keep up with my expensive subwoofer - my previous purchase was clearly being left behind by it! These are not and have happily taken on far more of the bass work that was previously delegated to the subwoofer. Measurements claim these speakers are flat down to roughly 70Hz but my experience was unfortunately different because I seem to have an untreated null in this room at around 90Hz which messed this up a bit. Fortunately I could just up the crossover frequency on my sub and apply a generous DSP correction on the sub to fix this on my end by throwing brute force at the problem but these monitors are as vulnerable as any other to your environment screwing with their bass response so keep that firmly in mind. These same measurements claim a broad 2dB dip between 200Hz to 2000Hz which in my experience is audible and I configured a modest EQ to correct this. After trying more elaborate attempts to "fix" this I quickly discovered that I was harming the sound more than helping it, so don't be alarmed - these are overall very flat and even keel studio monitors and that very basic EQ was enough to completely flatten everything out for my picky audiophile needs. I could easily live with the stock sound on these, however and did indeed do that for a while before deciding on filling in the minor divot. I decided on these over the T7V or T8V because I already had a sub to handle low end but also because the other two would simply have been too big on this desk! On top of that, the bigger woofers on the T7V and T8V apparently struggle more with the midrange response, so this seemed the best purchase of the three. I also bought these for the chance to try out ribbon tweeters as I greatly enjoy my planar headphones. Adam Audio have signature ribbon drivers on all their speaker designs and even their cheapest budget range that these monitors actually are are no exception to this. These have the clean highs I expected from such a setup and are happily handling most of the work of the audio from 110Hz upwards without missing a beat. They're far from being overwhelmed by the subwoofer then, and pair up together very nicely. The woofer and tweeter blend together and neither overwhelm each other nor fall behind the other, and so they handle everything you throw at them well and make it look easy. Simply put, they're an exceptional pair of speakers for general use as well as their intended use as studio monitors and they are what I'd point anyone to when they want their first pair of serious speakers. They easily blow away anything else I've ever used and I'm very satisfied with them indeed.

The Gold Standard!
Monsters in a living room & on a desk! Aesthetics These look incredible for the price. The tweeter adds contrast to the overall look, there are no visible screws in the front, the angled edges add curves to the design, without which this would have looked like a plain old boxy speaker. Build Quality Simply solid. You tap on it anywhere once and you know Adam was serious about this, as they always are. Sound The tweeters are insane. There's tons of detail, the soundstage is easy to grasp, vocals are absolutely impeccable and the bass is great. The low and high end is incredible but these absolutely nail the mid range. String instruments sound so good, it's hard to put in words. These make me want to just sit all day and listen to them, like leave everything else and just keep listening to them. Although, to enjoy the detail and depth of the sound, you have to crank up the volume a little bit, not a whole lot, just to normal listening levels. At incredibly low volumes where you can listen to someone whisper clearly, they sound pretty average. Turn up the volume a little bit and you'll be surprised at what they can do. Controls These have a dedicated level knob for low and high frequency. You get -2, 0 & +2 for low and high frequency. I've currently set HF to 0 and LF to +2 since I listen to them in a large room and I can really feel the bass anywhere in the room. Apart from that, you get a volume level knob for each speaker, you ideally should match them on both speakers and control the volume elsewhere. Others They don't support any digital or wireless inputs, just the traditional RCA and XLR. If you register these on their website, you'll get a warranty of 5 years! That shows that they're very confident about the product they've built. Verdict The JBL 305P Mark 2 used to be the go to affordable powered monitor but not anymore. These set a new benchmark, one that'll be very hard to get l beat. These perform better than those and look much much better. Admittedly, those are much cheaper. If you have around 30k on a pair, get the JBLs. If you can add 10k more, get these, they'll blow you away, change the very definition of great music.

Impressive sound for that price!
I purchased two of Adam’s T5V’s a couple of mounts ago and I’m impressed about the soundstage, bass response and clarity of highs! Usually I listen to loudspeakers first before I buy them but in this case is was convinced with YouTube reviews and the killer price to order and I wasn’t disappointed! Important to know is that you have to place them very well in your room and sit in the right position to get the best results out of this loudspeaker. My room is 3,3 meter wide by 4,3 meter long and they produce enough bass without subwoofer.( enough body shake) Some Youtube reviews tell you that they have a wide sweet spot but that is not the case here. Precise position is the key here. I’m running them in my music room (acoustically treated) just for listening music, no mixing, no recording. Anybody that will purchase these loudspeakers won’t be disappointed from the start. If you are a Pro with higher standards you might choose the higher model of Adam’s but I’m sure for starters it is the best choice. Enjoy these Adam’s T5V

Falsly advertised
In the description it says that it’s a PAIR of speakers, in a package with floor stands and XLR-cables. Well, my package arrived today with just ONE single speaker in original packing, nothing else. No floor stands, no XLR-cables. And also just a UK-power cable, not the EU-version. And no support, so only option is returning speaker, writing a bad review and wait a month for the refund.
