NRS Standard Rescue Throw Rope

Nicely made, good design, pricey but at least not made in mainland China... made in Taiwan.

I haven't had to use it yet but it looks like a quality product. Once I got it in the mail, I stretched the rope out to do a quick inspection. Quality rope and the bag and straps appear on par as well. For my application I did undo the knots at each end and increase the diameter of the loops, "not required just my preference." Also added a water activated strobe light to the side for night deployment. Also not required just my preference.

Bought as a gift for my firefighter bf, he loved it!

This is a great addition to any rescue truck or survival kit. We rescued our first patient from the trinity river a few weeks ago. It was easy to throw out and he had no problem hanging on as we hoisted him up the steep bank. It floats, is hi-viz, and is easily cooled back in the bag. Great value for the prices. You will want a carabiner to attach the end to something sturdy. That is the only thing that was not included.

I bought this as a practice bag after a shoulder surgery and I was getting back to my swiftwater team. I keep this with me at the pool and other places where I might not have my gear bag but might need it. The quality is just as good as every other product by NRS.

When thrown correctly it works great. Be sure to practice often so you will be confident if you have to use it in an emergency

Great throw bag setup, but it is way larger than the compact and really only fits in my creek boat - my half and full slice do not have enough space for it

Seems to be good quality. THANKFULLY it hasn't had to be used much! But it is definitely good to have one on hand while white water rafting! We did lots of research reading reviews to find a good, safe one & NRS seems to be the best option, & I found it in here for the same pricing but with Prime so definitely a decent buy.
