BarzelBarzel 18K White Gold & 18K Rose Gold with Created Fire Opal Necklaces In 18 Inches with 2 Inches Extension

I had this for about 6 months; wore it probably less than 20 times. But one of the stone fell off. now it looks odd to wear it :(

There's no way this is real gold. It looks and feels like something super cheap you'd buy at the dollar store. You'd find better quality at Forever 21. It came with a card with a QR code to get free jewelry in return for a good review, so I'm guessing that's where all these raving reviews came from. I returned it.

I've been wearing this pretty religiously the past two weeks. I forgot to take it off a couple times in the shower and I've worn it on these super hot days too. No tarnishing of turning me green. I love it. Dainty and beautiful. It is a clavicle length piece so it may be tighter if you have a wider neck. Its does have a nice extender chain as well so I'm sure anyone else could Make it work. You work regret it for the price

I like the way the necklace looks and I actually bought it because I used to have one that looked the same but lost it. The chain itself looks cheaper and almost not jewelry-like if that makes any sense, but the opals look nice and like other items in the same price range (I have many opal pieces). The biggest problem however, is that every time I wear the necklace I get a rash on my neck and it itches and burns for a couple of days afterwards. I know it is not silver or stainless steel, and that it is very cheap, but I have other chains and pieces of jewelry of the same quality and price that I wear daily and none of them give me such reaction. I will probably keep it and wear it occasionally for just a couple hours at a time, but I wish I could wear it every day like I do with my other opal necklaces without a problem.
