The Thunder of Justice

'The Thunder of Justice' is a welcome update to the first edition published in 1993  The Thunder of Justice: The Warning, the Miracle, the Chastisement, the Era of Peace . With recent disturbing world events, from the Japanese earthquake and Tsunami to the hijacked revolutions throughout northern Africa and the middle east, I would imagine many one-time-naysayers are beginning to take a look at what Heaven purportedly has said and is saying about our current age.The authors waste no time in going directly to those prophecies identified in the earlier edition which were interpreted by some to have been in error as they 'should have' become manifest by now. But the truth is, this is indeed the very nature of true prophecy--until its fulfillment, we can only use our best prayerful discernment as to the 'what, how, where, and when' (the 'why' is less difficult to figure out!) Nonetheless the observant person can not but help but recognize that the world has changed dramatically in the 17 years since this book's first publication, and with even greater haste since John Paul II closed the Year of Jubilee at the turn of the millennium. These are certainly wonderful and terrible times we are living in.More recent apparitions (which have not been condemned by the Church) are woven into previously authenticated appartions, revealing a frighteningly consistent message for our day and time. The authors also do a very adept job of reflecting these messages as a light upon the world's current and historical geopolitical maneuverings, revealing those people and movements which fuel the "anti-Church" prophesied for our times. (For a deeper understanding of this, I would recommend Flynn's  Hope of the Wicked , providing impeccable research and an historical analysis of the agenda and people who have conspired over the centuries to separate man from God and His Bride, the Church.)All this being said, despite the fact that it is clear that we are heading into difficult times, the book is ultimately filled with hope, especially as our loving God takes us through 'The Warning', 'The Miracle', 'The Merciful Chastisement', and into the 'Era of Peace'-- all events consistent with scripture and referenced by many of the Saints and early Church Fathers. In these frightening and often confusing times, I would highly recommend this book as a resource that puts all of what is happening in proper, eternal perspective.Pray! Pray! The Thunder of Justice is a rousing wakeup call for people going about their business heedless of the signs of the times--like those in the days of Noah, before he entered the Ark. One of those signs is widespread apostasy in the Christian world, which Ted and Maureen Flynn discuss in the context of Jesus' lament to his disciples: "When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?" The authors can't answer that question, of course, but they do make a convincing case that if he doesn't find faith, it won't be for lack of efforts by His Mother--it is her efforts to awaken us to the need to amend our ways that the authors lay out in this comprehensive and well researched book. If you think that the only apparitions of Our Lady to receive ecclesiastical approval were those at Mexico City, Lourdes and Fatima, or that she hasn't been seen for the last hundred years, you're in for a surprise. Our Lady has been appearing in numerous places--and be assured that the authors are careful to note which apparitions have, and which have not, been approved by the local bishop. It would be wonderful if the Blessed Virgin Mary had been coming to reassure us that all is well and all will be well, but the consistent theme of her many apparitions and locutions is that Jesus is greatly offended by the sins of mankind and is considering unleashing a terrible punishment. The sequential words on the book's cover--the Warning, the Miracle, the Chastisement, and the Era of Peace--did not spring from the authors' imagination but from her messages. I recommend this book, which is very substantially revised and updated from the original edition. Those who haven't yet read the signs of the times will find it an eye-opener, and those who have will find it a marbelous compendium of knowledge to be shared in their apostolate.

I believe this is essential reading for every Christian believer - and even the doubters among us. It brings some clarity to the many disturbing trends and occurrences around the world. Things like the skyrocketing of child sex abuse, unprecedented wars and natural disasters are given a different perspective when they are carefully aligned with prophesies and visions throughout the ages. Clearly, these are things we can mitigate simply by prayer and a faithful return to the basic tenets of Christianity. I highly recommend this book to people of all faiths - not just Catholics.  The Thunder of Justice

An amazing book that reviews the many apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the history that has played out, affirming her predictions. The world must pay attention to what she tells us, and what to expect if we do not listen to her plea to turn back to God.

I believe this book to be the best book I have ever read besides the Bible. It is so clear and backed up wqith so many facts that it is irrefutable. I truly has changed my life and my wife's. It shows beyond doubt how the apparitions of the BVM are all interconnected and shows what the future holds for us all!

then reading this book really got me thinking. Not for the faint of heart, the authors follow the trail of the increasing frequency of the reported apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary throughout this century around the glove; and arrive at an interesting theory as to the purpose of same. It's a wake up call for sure.

I wanted to like this book as I enjoy reading about apparitions and Mary and Jesus. But this book turns into a right wing rant against every step of human progress that's ever been made. Ok I get it communism is bad. But Mary and Jesus love ALL humans, and yes, that includes everyone. The book is redundant, repetitive and when it strays from facts to conjecture simply dumb. I'm glad I read it before I went to any of the authors seminars. The money will do better in the collection basket at my church and I won't have to listen to craziness like this. 2 stars and I'm being generous.

For anyone looking for an insightful , panoramic spiritual view of end time world events which shows the flow of divine intervention throughout history providing answers and assistance for suffering humanity , this book masterfully explains how the chaos of immorality and corruption are caused by the battle between good and evil , and that we are all part of it . That God has warned and guided mankind always , providing the powerful remedies and protection that everyone needs . An excellent , inspiring and encouraging support to faith , for whatever the future holds . We are not alone , heavenly communications enlighten us and gives signs and warnings for everyone who needs them. Good news for stormy times.
