Love these Chews!!!
My three boys lovelovelove these chews! I am extremely careful about what I give them and I am completely comfortable with this product! I love the fact that the ingredients are all natural, healthy and of high quality; I also know I can trust this company! I had a question and my email was answered quickly, with a thorough explanation and in a very friendly manner! I was also pleasantly surprised when I received (along with the replacement product) a special treat for my guys, which they absolutely enjoyed! These chews are definitely worth buying! Although my three are small (25lbs, 16lbs, 12lbs) they are big-time chewers! Major chewers!! And these chews keep them busy and happy!! I have purchased these several times now and will continue to do so. Don't hesitate to order from this company. You can't beat this product and you won't find better customer service!

Could be bigger options for giant breeds
Echo seems to enjoy. They will not last long because he is insistent on destruction and taste. He is a Newfoundland and a larger size would be great. I can’t even see it when in his mouth. He is annoyed at me for making sure it’s something he can have.

I don't love these, but our dog sure does
I don't love these, but our dog sure does. They are a hard cheese that is shelf stable, so they last a long time. Our dog loves them but with the added amount of lime I think they have a slightly sour taste to them which helps them last. I've given these to other people for their dogs and can't say enough good things. The only thing to keep in mind is do NOT keep them in the plastic bag they come in. They WILL mildew. It is better to take them out and leave them on the shelf than keep them in the plastic bag after you get them.

Package full of mildew mold !
Opened the bag and the sticks were covered in mildew mold ! I washed them in clean water and a clean scrubbing brush. I set them out to dry on a wire rack. They still smell like mildew mold. I'll see what they're like in the morning. It's a hastle to do returns. Hopefully the smell doesn't stop the doggos from chewing on them. But if it does I'll toss them and buy from another company.Update: I was able to wash off the mold and the puppers didn't have an issue with them. They are big pieces and I was hopeful they would last awhile. But my aggressive chewer knocked hers out in an hour. My soft mouth babies took a day to chew them up. Sadly those aren't worth the cost and the hassle. Next !

Pricey for what they are
They do last a decent amount of time and don't leave any mess whatsoever, but a dog with some gumption can definitely eat one in a day if they put their mind to it. My dog loves these and carries them around for weeks. All of a sudden, she'll decide it's time for the cheese to die, and it'll be gone in a few days.Still, lack of any mess and being 100% digestible make them pretty good.I also tasted a bit and it tasted pretty OK. Sharp, not a ton of flavor.

Real Yak Cheese, no cows milk added.
Peppy Pooch seems to be one of the very few Yak Cheese dog chews that have not been adulterated with other ingredients. We discovered Himilayan Yak cheese a couple of years ago and our dog loves them. Over the last year, we have notice a change in the ingredient list of the other brands we have purchased. It is rare to find the original formula of Yak milk, lime and salt. Now, regardless of the package, it seems most include cow's milk as part if not all of the cheese make up. Everyone's on the band wagon with all sorts of ingrediants. It is my understanding that Yak's milk is much lower in lactose which is the allergic factor most people and animals who cannot tolerate cow's milk react to. My boy, a Poodle, Austrailian Shephard mix has always tolerated the Yak treats and they are still his favorite. We tried Peppy Pooch again, as it was the only one we could find with the original contents of Himilayan Yak Cheese chews. He loves them and I believe he would try to eat the whole thing if not watched. Normally he chews about a little at a time and keeps coming back during the day, however, there was no leaving this one alone, so we are regulating his intake. For young dogs they last quite a while, but don't last too long with either the Standard Poodle we had or this guy. We went from using Yak cheese as a chew toy to now as an occassional treat. We don't "do" rawhide, bones and other hard to digest stuff. Peppy Pooch will be our mainstay as long as they don't change ingredients. Like almost everything these days, profit trumps quality, and I hope Peppy Pooch resists changing.

Didn’t last as long as previous yak bones.
Dog loved them, but didn’t seem to last as long as other brands.

Really good treats, no belly upset, wish they cost less!
Been wanting to try these things for a long time, but the prices scared me off. My dog goes through edible chews like rawhide and bones like nobody's business. He's a golden-doodle and has a total poodle belly, so anything can upset his stomach and usually does. These surprisingly did not, which was a huge plus. It took him about an hour to 2 hours to get through one and when he abandoned a leftover piece we did the microwaving trick and watched it blow up and turn into a cripsy treat, which was kind of cool. He killed the crispy microwave chunk in seconds. Still wish they were a little cheaper considering the inexpensive and limited ingredients, but these were a decent price and great quality.
