If you don't have one of these in your home, you need one!
This is a terrific towel warmer......chrome finished nicely and well constructed. Purchased this and installed in our Airstream travel trailer. It is the perfect size and works beautifully. We have had a British made towel warmer in our bath at home for years, love it! and having this in our home away from home is ideal.

Nice for the price
Generally pleased with the towel warmer so far. Seems to heat up nicely, and so far the timer appears to work. The product seems to be nicely manufactured, and the various joints between the bars are solid without any movement. It looks great on the wall, and the brushed finish is nice looking. The option for direct-wiring is nice, and they provide the required mounting plate and stand-off tube so the result is professional looking, but it does mean that the lower-right post is attached to the wall with a playing-card-sized metal plate that shows. To their credit, that plate has the same brushed finish.Taking away 1 star because of installation steps and instructions. None of these stopped me from success on the first try, but worth mentioning.1. The installation instructions are poorly written. They could easily have provided the measurements for the 4 mounting brackets, but they did not, so I had to measure carefully and then take a bit of a leap of faith in drilling the holes in the wall. It all worked out fine. As with everything, measure and check and re-check before making holes. Also would have been great if they had simply provided a paper template -- for the price of the product, they could have included 1 sheet of large paper with the holes marked.2. It is tricky to do the mounting for direct-wiring installation, because the wire is already in place. The wire gets in the way of taking pragmatic steps like test-fitting the mounting position, which was frustrating. Also, takes a bit of bravery, because the first step in the direct-wire instructions is to cut the plug off.3. The direct-wired installation requires that the right-side mountings must NOT be on a stud, since that is where the wire has to go through the drywall and into the wall cavity. Wires would have to go through the wall somewhere, of course, but was just bad luck that I had to move a bit off from my planned positioning to avoid a stud.4. As I saw written in other reviews, the simple dry-wall anchors (plastic sleeves) seemed guaranteed to not hold well enough or at least would not stand up to routine use for long. I used proper dry wall anchors instead, so the installation would be sturdy the first time.

Steer Clear
I bought this towel warmer less than one year ago and it no longer works. I was excited at first - warm dry towlels sounded nice. I had the warmer professionally installed and it worked great up until a month ago. I was able to connect it to an app and had a schedule for when I would need warm towels. Then I noticed the warmer was not triggering with the app. I tried to reconnect but to no avail. I had to turn the warmer on manually. Not ideal, but it worked until it didn't. Now I have an expensive towel rack.I contacted the company and they were fairly responsive. They told me the warranty was only good for three months so I am out of luck.Steer clear of this towel warmer unless you only need it to work for less than one year.

Mixed feelings. Add a switch if hardwiring.
I have very mixed feelings about this rack. On the one hand, my towels don’t get that mildew smell AT ALL anymore. I suppose that’s the most important thing. Due to our bathroom layout…I had to have an electrician do a hardwire install into the wall and then down under the house to connect to a junction box. That part is fine - it is what it is - and the hardwire option is part of the reason I chose this product. HOWEVER, after only maybe a month of use the led display has gone haywire and it is no longer connected to our WiFi. So I consulted the documentation on how to reset it…and it says to unplug it for 30 seconds then plug it back in. Well. I can’t unplug it because it’s hardwired. And I can’t crawl under the house to undo the wires. So I’m going to have to try to figure out what circuit breaker runs that power line under the house. Even if that works, I don’t want to constantly use the circuit breaker if this problem repeats. So now I’m looking into adding an inline power switch in the tiny bit of cord in the space between the rack & the wall. If I can get the display reset / fixed and reconnected to the WiFi, and it doesn’t constantly repeat the problem…I’ll give it a fourth star. I also feel like the whole rack doesn’t get warm - top to bottom. The middle is definitely warmer than the ends.So if you plan to hardwire it like I did - consider adding an inline power switch!

Enjoying the elegance
We received and installed the warming towel bar and are so glad we did. The Husband seemed to have no problem with assembling and mounting the bar. We turn the bar on about 30 minutes or so before the evening showers and they warm up pretty quickly - it even seems to provide warmth in the bathroom with concrete floors - it is such a luxury to step out the shower to a nice warm towel. Figuring out the best wrap against the bars for our large bath towels but so far no matter the fold the towels are extra nice to use. We are using the 140 degree and turn the bar off every night. No more fluffing the towels through the dryer. Needless to say - we empty nesters are very happy with this purchase. Oh and it’s pretty too.
