Cheaper in this pack than individually.
First, Skylanders is a great game, for both kids and adults. My kids (age 5 and 9) got the Skylander's game for Christmas and we all quickly determined the level of awesome as HIGH. The day after Christmas, we ordered this triple pack from Amazon when it was still at it's normal price and hadn't yet succumbed to the price gauging that is going on right now. It was $19.99 and I paid $3.99 extra for the one-day shipping with Amazon Prime. The price of each of the characters on their own at that time was between $8 and $10. So, this triple pack was around $7 cheaper for all three. I am looking forward to when the prices for the characters goes back to normal, as my children would like to spend some of their hard-earned allowance money on them.

Very good, but wrong figure
The figures were in very good condition and work fine but the bird I was sent was a glow in the dark and different statue, but I’m pretty sure it’s worth more so…

When the package arrived i saw that Sonic Boom was a chase variant from giants not spyro's adventures which incidentally didn't want for my skylanders collection the variant and aside from that I Wrecking Ball I got was from giants not spyro's adventure Stealth Elf was the only one they got correct

Good "speed" character pack
My 6 year old picked this 3-pack out because she needed 2 more elements to have all 8. She has been very happy with all 3 of them loves that she can speed ahead of her brother who got a "strong but slow" pack. Wrecking ball was the 1 of the 3 that wasn't needed, but is a very funny character that my daughter plays with most. She is a big can of all the dragons, so sonic boom is her second favorite. When I play with them, I use stealth elf because of his quickness and combo moves. The kdis have a little trouble pulling off of combo's with their button mashing.PARENTS- There are 8 total elements in the game, each character is assigned an element. All 8 are needed in order to access all portions of the game. If you are buying skylanders characters for the kids, I would recommend that you check and see what elements they need and try to knock them out before they come at you again saying they need more. We have a total of 9 skylanders and made sure the kids got at least 1 of each element within those 9. Of course this is all going to change when Skylanders: Giants comes out with their estimated 40 new characters, including Giant characters. If you are looking to please your kids needs on a budget, make sure you pay attention to the elements of the characters.

Love Them
We were in at Toys R Us when I seen the game & I told my husband lets get this for my 14 yr old son for Christmas. It looks like we would enjoy playing it with him. Well I seen the extra characters you could buy for it too. I had to have Stealth Elf for myself. I couldn't find her anywhere besides on Amazon. By herself she was $26 something. I've decided she is very popular. Everyone in the 3 pack are awesome. We have a blast playing with all the different characters. We can't wait to get more. Skylanders is a blast :)

Fun... for a bit.
This is a review from the point of view of a not-kid, who played the original Spyro's as a kid.The game is pretty entertaining. The puzzles to get through the game are easy enough, to where you won't have your child running to you every five seconds to do something else. However, to unlock everything the game has to offer, you have to be able to scavenge for treasures, and make your way through fairly difficult mini-games.The way the game is set up makes it to where you have to buy more packs of characters, if you want to unlock everything. The characters are fun to collect, though; if you don't mind spending about $10 for each character, you'll have a blast figuring out how each fights. As for replay value-I would put this as the lowest quality. Kids will have fun going through each level over and over, but both my husband and I found ourselves growing a bit weary after a few play-throughs.

Triple Pack - Wrecking Ball, Sonic Boom and Stealth Elf
We went to Best Buy, ToysRUs and Target right after Christmas, looking for "some other characters" - and there was an apparent frenzy to get characters, but the item that seemed short in supply was the AIR element.I read around, that there are (as of 12-2011) only 2 Air Characters even available, with Sonic Boom and Whirlwind, and Whirlwind is Target ONLY.So, when I saw this Triple pack IN-Stock for the regular price (19.99) I was happy to give it a try. I worried though, because the other packs had the NAMES of the characters, but this one just said "Standard Edition" (no names.)It arrived today, and it is indeed all 3 that it shows. - Not that you need a character in every element, but, it has been hard to actually find a chance to buy either AIR element character. Thanks Amazon!
