Best infuser I've purchased
I've had a number of tea infusers from the ball (which always bends and breaks) to ones that float and make a mess, to just loose tea which I found I just don't like. I just wanted something for my coffee mugs that I use for tea and this one is easy to open and close, very fine holes to keep tiny tea bits in like the rooibos teas I like, and you can add tea with plenty of room for the leaves to unfurl. There's also no small openings so it's easy to clean, though I would suggest rinsing it out right away, as loose tea likes to stick on the sides pretty good if you don't get it right away.It comes with an attached chain and hook for the sides of your cup, and a little tray to sit it on when you are done. I'm very pleased with this and I can finally start drinking my loose teas that fell out of favor because I did not like just putting them loose in my cup.I actually purchased two of these, one for myself and one for a friend. Very happy with it.

Needed an infuser with very fine mesh and more capacity
Best sub ten dollar purchase I’ve made in ages and I was hesitant because it’s actually a bit pricey for a simple tea infuser.I recently bought some new loose leaf teas. One of them was too fine for my usual infuser and the other expanded too much. This little guy solved both problems and is much better looking as well.Comes in a nice little box, would be good for gifting. Seems well made and like it should hold up well. If that’s true - doesn’t break or rust - then worth more than 5 stars to me!

Small and loose leaves... Rust after wash.
Two issues...1) Reviews say it's great for a pitcher of tea, however, I've had to fill it twice to get my tea to a decent taste and color. My pitcher isn't even half a gallon, and this infuser barely infused enough. This could just be my personal preference.2) Lose leaves.. Even though the infuser was tightly closed leaves still came out from the lid. I assume it came out from where the lid closes, some leaves could have got caught and loosened by the hot water. For light-medium tea, I assume this product would be useful, however if you want to have strong tea, and want to pack it, this infuser will not be for you; if you're doing a whole pitcher. I recommend a larger size.EDIT:I washed my infusers, didn't use it for a few days (was out of town), came back and there was rust on the seem.

This is the first tea infuser I've ever had.
I got it right the first time. This is very easy to use and easy enough to clean. With regard to the cleaning, I bet it's a bear unless you have virtually entirely whole leaves. Once that tea gets in there it really doesn't want to come out. You'd better have a really strong stream from your kitchen faucet to flush it out. I tried taking half a paper towel and rotating it around in there, but those tea leaves really love this infuser. It's a multi-step process to get them out. I still have no doubt that this is the best infuser it is possible to get.

Truly stainless
A thin, fine mesh of metal that allows good flow of water over your herbal infusion. How would you suppose it handles a marine environment-- salt air, salt water? It does great! Six months and not a spot, not a loose seam. Hey, we're writing about a tea diffuser. This one is amazing. Six stars.

precisely made
This stainless steel infuser is extremely well made with close tolerances between lid and body. It also has an elegant design among the groupings of pin-prick sized holes for circulation--smallest I've ever seen on an infuser. The size is perfect in that it's not so big that it won't fit in a wide range of tea pots, but is big enough to hold sufficient tea for an oversized brew. This design solves the complaints generally associated with other infusers; loose fitting lids or seals that allow tea leaves to escape, poor construction, wrong size.It loses one star because it really shouldn't cost as much as it does, but on the up side, it will last for years.

Solid device
Pro: Good looking little tea infuser, the cage is very porous and lets water through readily, but keeps even very fine tea particles contained.Con: The chain and hook are a little too short / don't grasp the edges of my teapot well. More often than not the chain falls into the pot, but there's no harm done. I wish the hook were larger or could be clasped shut.

Nice tea strainer
I really like the size and quality of this tea strainer. I do find it just a little more difficult to clean easily. Some of the used loose leaves tend to stick to the side, and because the holes in the strainer are very small, they don't rinse out as easily as other strainers I have used. However, it's beautiful, holds lots of tea leaves, and is sturdy. No regrets in this purchase.
