What is the size difference between the 10-cup and the 8-cup version?

Both the 10-cup round & the 8-cup round are about the same size & shape: 10.25" tall x 8.5" wide (to the handle). The 10-cup round has a circular diameter of about 6.5" with the 8-cup diameter about ¼" less. The 8-cup round also has a somewhat more pronounced "coca-cola-like" contour/'waistline' as compared to the 10-cup round, accounting for some of the difference in capacity. The lid of the 8-cup round is a darker gray than that of the 10-cup round. The 8-cup round is a discontinued product.

Does it filter out chlorine?

ZeroWater filters have been independently tested for the reduction of chlorine with an overall reduction percentage of 99%.

What filter does it take?? One advertised does not specify this model #...

This takes the same filter as the other standard 8-10 cup pitchers. Same as the original pitcher that I've had for years now.

Is this water ok for cpap use.?

I used ZeroWater for my CPAP and it seemed fine - at first. After a couple of months the water chamber showed a small amount of scale. The fact is ZeroWater is not sterile although it certainly is chemical free. Ok in a pinch, but pure distilled water is best for CPAP/BPAP users. ZeroWater Is what I use for everything else!
