Straight Ergo Recycling/Waste Kerbside Lid - Black

I was very pleased with these. Bought them after seeing the foxes couldn’t get into my neighbours recycling tubs. Looked at several before deciding on these. I was pleased they fit nicely and are strong enough for the job. I can also stack the boxes when full if needed.

Pleased to report that these lids fit the Borough of Redbridge (London) recycling bins.Seem sturdy and good quality.However, as is generally the case with most plastics, they perish and become brittle with time, so it will be interesting to see how long they last.

I needed a recycling crate lid, as I have a few crates without lids. Was pleased to find this lid fitted, so will buy another.

Mine was a bit short, and water builds up, but it is solid and allows me to stack my other recycling bin on top. I use mine on top of plastic cover and I don’t attach the ties., use the other way round (tie on side but don’t tie) Bin day I remove the plastic and cover, then they don’t get damaged when bin guys empty them. They have lasted ages this way. I used to replace them frequently.

This lid fits the paper recycling box supplied by our local authority (Bromley). It clicks into place so can't blow off like the original lid supplied by the council. I have had it a year now and it is still perfect (though I do remove the lid when I put the box out for collection to prevent it being thrown around or lost!)
